Part A: Read the following text. Then, match each problem with each solution.

The number of damaged roads connecting Jakarta with West Java has certainly
given cause for complaints from local road users. Take, for example, the roads in
Bekasi, which have often bee the focus of the media.
The poor condition of these roads not only jeopardies road safety, but is also an
eyesore and puts a squalid stamp on surroundings.
The situation gets worse when it rains. The roads are transformed into puddles
which may cause accidents if motorists are not careful.
It would be best to examine why those roads are in such a poor condition and
why repairs do not seem to last long.

PROBLEM ANSWER* SOLUTION

end of the text.

After a long stressful day at the office, Jakarta citizens still have to face traffic jams
when they are going home, for no apparent reasons.
One can witness how traffic jams have affected not only conventional roads but
also the toll roads so that road users have to queue up before they enter freeways.
From my observation, this congestion is the result of the presence of too many
private cars and the operation of public transport vehicles that are no longer
roadworthy.
