Research Assistant: Early Life Iron Deficiency and its Effects on

Slupsky Lab under Postdoctoral Researcher, Shannon McClorrey | Davis, CA  
● Developed an analysis strategy to perform cognitive testing on videos recorded from an experiment 
utilizing a double-T maze task, deciding what events to record, what the threshold for those events 
would be, and the easiest way to code our data 
● Manually performed cognitive testing video analysis on 900 1-minute trial videos, assessing 
parameters such as task compliance, time to decision, arm selection, time to reward, and measures of 
task acquisition, and coding that data into an Excel spreadsheet 
● Familiarized myself with EthoVision, a video tracking software for animal behavior research
