The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Center for
Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel (QITEP) in Mathematics
announces its regular courses for SEAMEO Member Countries for Fiscal Year 2021. The five
(5) regular courses listed in the table are designed for Primary School Teacher, Junior High
School Mathematics Teacher and Senior High School Mathematics Teacher/ Vocational
School. For our selection purposes, we encouraged to nominate at least two (2) teachers for
each regular course in accordance with the following details.

General lnformation
Regular Course 2021
Some general information related to the conduct ofSEAQiM Regular Course 2021 is as follows:
A. Duration
Each regular course runs for 100 hours, @45 minutes, which is around 10 days (weekdaysJ.
B. Mode
SEAQiM 2021's regular course is to be conducted virtually via Zoom and Learning Management
System (LMS) pladorm, such as Moodle and Google Classroom.
The proportion ofonline learning is provided below:
- Learning via Zoom :500/o
- Learning via LMS :50o/o
C. Tentative Schedule
The tentative schedule will be informed to the participants approximately one week before the
beginning ofeach regular course.
D. Language Delivery
tnstruction wil be delivered in English.
E. Facilitator
The participants will be facilitated by SEAQiM Academic Team, and some invited experts in
mathematics education from some reputable institutions worldwide.
F. Certificate
The participants will be awarded a Certificate ofParticipation following the rules and conditions
applied by SEAQiM.
G. Cost
SEAQiM's regular course is free ofcharge.
H. Internet Quota
Each participant is responsible for supporting any cost to support his/her own internet quota
during the regular course.
