List down qualities of an effective English teacher in macro skills

Answer:

Learning of the learners is depends upon their willingness and courage to learn with the
hand of the teachers. Teachers should have the qualities that those students need. Being a
teacher is a both privilege and responsibilities so they should always do what they can to help
the students to grow not only in school but also in their personal life. The first one is socio
affective skills. It is very important to have a relationship with the students and teacher to
maintain the connection between them. It’s including motivating the students to continue their
studies, to do their requirements and activities and specially achieving their dreams. Teachers
need to listen to their approach and understand each student to give them positive advice. The
second is pedagogical knowledge which means teacher should know and aware what
strategies and procedures to apply. Pedagogical knowledge providing the students the
environment where they feel belong and comfortable. Pedagogical knowledge also refers to the
ability to organize, explain and clarify which mean teacher does know to maintain school
management and provide effective materials to students so the topic will be understand easily
by the learners. The subject-matter knowledge is also important because it shows high quality of
teaching that reflects how the teachers understand the subject or field they are teaching. Subject matter
knowledge also includes target language effectively in class. Lastly is the personality characteristic
which helps the teacher to work in their environment. Teacher should have essential personal
characteristics that may use in teaching like having sense of humor and being creative. These
characteristics may help the teachers to have a relationship with the students and for the mean time
they are learning form the teachers.
