PART II: HANDS-ON EXAMINATION FOR LABORATORY PART (90 points)

Direction: Perform the following activities using the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in your respective computer
devices. Please follow the instructions given for each package in order to arrive in a single and required output. You only
have one (1) day to finish this hands-on examination. Please budget your time. GOODLUCK!

I. MICROSOFT WORD (30 points)


Create a Business Letter
  Instructions:
(i). Type the company name and address
Open a blank Microsoft Word document. Type the following information:
Batangas State University
Rizal Avenue, Batangas City
Batangas City, 4200

(ii). Select All of the text and use the Font options to format the type:
Tahoma, 12 font size, bold, centered, and dark red

(iii). Use the official logo of BatStateU for company logo


Resize the picture
Center it above the Company name and address
 
(iv). Type a sample business letter:
Dear Dr. Ronquillo,
 
Write in complete sentences and in paragraph form (add indention to the first sentence) 10 things you like about
Batangas State University.
 
 
Sincerely,
 
Your Name

(iv). Format the business letter as follows:


Select All of the text and use the Font options:
Times New Roman, 12 font size, bold, left alignment, justified.
Upload your output to Google Classroom using cas file name.

II. MICROSOFT EXCEL (30 points)

A. Using Sheet 1 and the data given, follow the instructions given below: (10 points)

Instructions:
(i). Calculate the totals for each meal and get the grand total.
(ii). Format the Sheet 1 as follows:
Just follow the format used for the appearance given in the table above, but make all the “Totals” bold, two decimal
places, comma, insert rows above Row number 1 and merge the cells above using the caption “TITLE” across
columns A-G and make it size 16, bold, Italic and Times New Roman.
(iii). Rename the Sheet 1 as Req A.

B. Using Sheet 2 and the data given, follow the instructions given below: (10 points)
