Difference between inference and conclusion

These 2 terms are both an act trying to figure out what is not specifically stated in the
text or in a given situation. It is easy for us to think they have an almost the same meaning but
in fact they are different from each other. When we say inference, we are using facts in
determining other facts. It is when we examine facts in a situation and thinking suggestions
about what might happen in the situation. Inference can be accurate or inaccurate, logical or
illogical, just or unjust. On the other hand, when we say conclusion, it is a logical step in the
information series. A conclusion must be derived from the given information, and must not be
inferred from the given statement. So inference is an educated guess almost same as
hypothesis while a conclusion is more on logically deriving the next step.
