Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's
compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that
do not adhere to these guidelines.

 The article uses the MJSSH Journal template.


 The submission file is in word format - Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
 Proof-read finalized version of the manuscript.
 Manuscript has been ‘spell-checked’ and ‘grammar-checked’.
 All figures and tables captioned.
 References are in the correct format for this Journal (APA 7th edition citation format
followed).
 The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for
consideration.
 MJSSH has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. The author is responsible to ensure
that the article sent for review is free from plagiarism. During review process we use
iThenticate plagiarism software.

GENERAL

The call for paper in our journal is ongoing. Submission of articles on subjects of relevance to
the journal is welcome at any time.

MJSSH accepts origin research paper, conceptual paper, short communications and review
article. Extended and enhanced versions of papers presented at conferences will be
considered.

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT AND STRUCTURE

Title Page

All submissions must have a title page including the following information in this order:

 Title of article
 Author(s) Full name
 Affiliation
 Email address 
 Keywords (at least 3 keywords)
 Abstract (250 words maximum)

Main Text

An original paper should be composed according to the following sections in the


particular order:

 Introduction
 Literature Review / Theoretical Background and Hypotheses Development
 Methods
 Results
 Discussion
 Implications
 Conclusion
 Reference
 Appendix (if any)

Manuscript Preparation 

Authors should use Times New Roman, 11 pts, throughout the manuscript. All text should be
single-spaced.

Heading 1

For heading 1, use 12pts, Cambria, in bold. 

Heading 2

For heading 2, use 12pts, Cambria, in Bold Italic. 

Heading 3 (and others)

For heading 3, use 12pts, Cambria, in Italic. 

Reference

MJSSH recommends APA (American Psychological Association) sixth reference format. The
author-date (name, date) method of in-text citation. For example, (Ting, 2020), and a full
reference should appear in the reference list at the end. For the reference list, use 11pts,
Times New Roman, justified. 

Peer Review Process


 

1. All received manuscripts will be submitted to a peer review process. The review process
may take 2-4 weeks. For a details of this process, please check MJSSH Peer Review Policy 
2. Notification of the result of review by email. The authors revise paper (if any) and pay
publication fee. MJSSH charges nominal publication fee to offset expenses associated with
the overall journal operations, website maintenance, etc.

3. Author/Corresponding Author will be notified about the possible date of publication. E-


journal in PDF is available on the journal’s webpage, free of charge for download.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the
stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any
other party.

All articles published in this journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC
BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.
