It gives me great pleasure to recommend Alyssa Kissel for a teaching position at your school. I have
known Ms. Kissel for two years, since she was a student in my educator preparation classes at the
University of Mount Union. I have come to know her well as a person and as a professional. I feel that she
is an outstanding candidate for a primary grades teaching position.
Ms. Kissel is an excellent teacher who has accumulated a number of academic achievements and extra-
curricular activities. Alyssa maintained a high GPA and has shown herself to be a capable and dependable
educator during her student teaching experience in Lake Elementary School. She has demonstrated her
versatility by participating in a number of campus and community organizations, holding leadership
positions in Kappa Delta Pi and active membership in Alpha Delta Pi. Ms. Kissel is combines academic
excellence with a genuine concern for the community in which she lives.
I can attest to Ms. Kissel’s maturity and her commitment to her studies and her students. She does her
work conscientiously, she seeks out work that challenges her, and she has an amazing capacity for
fulfilling her instructional responsibilities in the classroom. Alyssa is organized in her goal setting yet has
learned to keep her options open for the future. Her work ethic and dedication will no doubt make her a
highly sought-after teacher for districts across the state.
I find Alyssa Kissel to be an honest, reliable, self-motivated person who demonstrates leadership qualities
both inside and outside her classroom. I highly recommend Ms. Kissel for a teaching position in your
school, and I am happy to elaborate on any details if you wish.
Sincerely,
