Module 10
Aquaculture (Exploratory)
As the fishes become low of supply more and more fishermen go to the sea to fish. The
constant changes of our climate, the build-up of pollution from farms and industries contributes
to fish shortage in most fishing sanctuary in the world. Another factor that contributes to a large
extent to the declining source of our aquatic life is the practice of illegal fishing. The rarity of
fishes in the open sea makes fish culture an important activity to sustain the growing demand
supply for food production for human consumption and animal feeds. Hence, Fish Culture is
important.
