Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a bacteria that has been isolated from sea water, shell fish,
plankton and salt springs. It has been a major cause of food poisoning in Japan and the
Japanese have done several studies on it. They have confirmed the presence of Vibrio
parahaemolyticus in the north and central Pacific with the highest abundance in inshore
waters, and particularly in or near large harbors.
A man named Nishio studied the relationship between the chloride content of sea water
and seasonal distribution of Vibrio parahaemolyticus and concluded that while the
isolation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus was independent of the sodium chloride content, the
distribution of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in the sea water was dependent on the water
temperature. In fact it has been isolated in high frequencies during summer, from June to
September, but was not isolated with the same frequency in winter.

Indonesian Human Right Watchdog Imparsial,PoengkyIndarty, said on Monday.

improving the welfare of their citizens than spending it on military service,”She said,

The master bedroom has no key. The air conditioner does not work. How could I use my
washing machine if the outlet is missing? The worst of all is that the main faucet has
broken that no water can flow. This makes me unable to wash, to cook and to do any other
things.
I had told Mr. David, one of your employees, about my problems but I got no response
from him. I also called your secretary Miss. Brown but again, there was no response.

Say No to Drugs
We can read the ‘Say No to Drugs’ warning almost everywhere. What it is the matter with
drugs?. Everybody knows that drugs are used to treat or to prevent many deseases. Drugs
have helped millions of people live longer and healthier lives.
But, many people do not aware that drugs can also cause sickness and death. Any drug,
even the helpful one,may cause great harm if it is used improperly, anydrug can kill if
taken
in large doses
We, common people, think that drugs mean only medicines. But, pharmacologist consider
all chemical that affect living thing to be drugs. For example, insecticides, weed-killers,
and a wide variety of other substance as drugs. Even the chemicals in automobile exhaust
and other substance that pollute the environment are considered drugs because they affect
living things.
A person is called a drug addict if he is not able to control his use of drug. His desire for
the drug also involves physical dependence. That is the addict’s body depends on drug so
greatly that he suffers a painful withdrawal illness if he stops using it.
In addition, an addict also develops a tolerance to the drugs, and so does that once
satisfied his desired no longer do so. As a result, the addict needs longer and larger doses
to achieve the same effect.
Three major groups of drugs can cause
addiction. (1) Narcotics – heroin and morphine
(2) Sedatives – barbiturates, sleeping pills and
tranquilizer
(3) Alcohol
Narcotic produces addiction faster than sedatives or alcohol do. Almost anyone who
take several doses of heroin daily for two weeks become addicted to drug. But sedatives
and alcohol, though less likely than heroin to cause addiction, can create even stronger
addiction. Withdrawal from a narcotic causes aching muscles, chills, fever, runny nose
and eyes, stomach cramps, and general body weakness. Meanwhile, withdrawal from
sedatives and alcohol cause a high fever and confulsion. It also causes delirium tremor, a
condition in hich the victim becomes shaky and sees and hears thing that are not present.
Too swift withdrawal from alcohol or sedative can cause death.
What do you think about home schooling? Do you think it's a good idea concerning
socialization and all? Believed to be first introduced in the U.S. decades ago, home schooling
is now mushrooming in the country. This phenomenon seems to be in response to the fact that
children's rights are sidelined in the arena of formal education. As an alternative education
system, home schooling could become a popular choice for children of school ages.
Home schooling provides kids with educational opportunities that traditional public
schooling has not provided. It offers a refreshing system by which students are encouraged
to be creative and express themselves. Students will discover the thrill and sense of
accomplishment that self-initiated learning can bring.
On the other hand, some people believe that home schooling can be inefficient and
expensive. Students’ social life is, indeed, something to be concerned about in home
schooling education. Most school districts make sincere attempts to keep their home schooled
students active participants in the social, athletic, and extracurricular life of the school.
It is strongly recommended that parents contact home schooling resource that may be
able to put them in touch with kids who have gone through home schooling and those who
are currently being home schooled. Talking with them would be a great way for parents to
make a more informed decision about their kids’ education.
