Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a bacteria that has been isolated from sea water, shell fish,

An NGO wants the government to scrap its plan to introduce mandatory military service,
which could burden the state budget.
“The government will need to pay the monthly salaries of an additional 30,000 to
50,000
military personnel, which means a minimum of Rp 2 million per person,’executive director of
Indonesian Human Right Watchdog Imparsial,PoengkyIndarty, said on Monday.

We Should Change the Payment System

Nowadays, the system of payment gradually changes. Most people use debit cards
instead of cash to make payment. They think it is more effective, efficient, easier, and
simpler. However, there are still arguments about the use of debit cards as a method of
payment.
Well, if you use the card, you will say that the card is so practical. You don’t need to
count how much you should pay. When paying in cash, people are afraid of making
mistakes in counting the banknote for both the payment and the change. With debit cards
the mistakes is made smaller.
Moreover, you should know that the debit cards are safer than money. Suppose
you bring a lot of money when travelling. If it is lost or stolen, you will be left with
nothing in your hands. However, if you bring a debit card, you can just phone the bank

For those reasons we think that credit cards are not fully effective as a means of

 My Best Holiday
Last year, my family and I went on the most amazing holiday to Spain. We had never been
to Spain before and my dad wanted to go there because he said that he was fed up with
sitting around in the damp and gloom.
The weather there was very hot. So, when we arrived at the hotel, the first thing in my
dad did was to take a shower. He said that he needed to cool off after such a long journey.

drugs?. Everybody knows that drugs are used to treat or to prevent many deseases. Drugs

We, common people, think that drugs mean only medicines. But, pharmacologist consider
all chemical that affect living thing to be drugs. For example, insecticides, weed-killers,
and a wide variety of other substance as drugs. Even the chemicals in automobile exhaust
and other substance that pollute the environment are considered drugs because they affect
living things.
 A person is called a drug addict if he is not able to control his use of drug. His desire for
the drug also involves physical dependence. That is the addict’s body depends on drug so
greatly that he suffers a painful withdrawal illness if he stops using it.
In addition, an addict also develops a tolerance to the drugs, and so does that once
satisfied his desired no longer do so. As a result, the addict needs longer and larger doses
to achieve the same effect.
Three major groups of drugs can cause
addiction. (1) Narcotics – heroin and morphine
(2) Sedatives – barbiturates, sleeping pills and
tranquilizer
(3) Alcohol
Narcotic produces addiction faster than sedatives or alcohol do. Almost anyone who
take several doses of heroin daily for two weeks become addicted to drug. But sedatives
and alcohol, though less likely than heroin to cause addiction, can create even stronger
addiction. Withdrawal from a narcotic causes aching muscles, chills, fever, runny nose
and eyes, stomach cramps, and general body weakness. Meanwhile, withdrawal from
sedatives and alcohol cause a high fever and confulsion. It also causes delirium tremor, a
condition in hich the victim becomes shaky and sees and hears thing that are not present.
Too swift withdrawal from alcohol or sedative can cause death.

2012 Film Review
2012 is Roland Emmerich’s film which uses the Mayan Calendar and other end-of-days
prophecies for their doomsday scenario. It imagines the world coming to an end in 2012.
 2012 film brings off a series of wonders. The movie hits its peak early on. It stars
when
Cusack drives a limo through the streets of Los Angeles as freeway and skyscrapers
crumble all around him from the shock of a 10.5 earthquake. The preposterous flying
sequence is equally thrilling. The climax occurs aboard the giant ark. When an equipment
malfunction almost threatens the entire mission.
Unfortunately, the crucial sequence is not filmed or edited with the requisite clarity. In
2012 film, Emmerich leaves us befuddled as to exactly what is happening to whom.
However, Emmerich’2012 deserves credit for offbeat casting. Cusack supplies his trademark
hangdog charm. McCarthy has perhaps his best role ever as Peet’s cocky. Danny Glover
lends dignity to the role of the tormented president. Chiwetel Ejiofor, as the chief scientist,
brings a moving sense of anguish to a stock role. Platt has fun playing the villain of
the piece, and Woody Harrelson also chews the scenery as a bug-eyed radio prophet trying
to warn his listeners about Armageddon.
All in one, 2012’s cinematography, production design and visual effects are
award-worthy. Music also propels the movie. It presents American Idol runner-up,
Adam
Lambert, who provides a rousing anthem over the end
credits.
