Introduction
Hello how are you. The Word of Jesus Daily devotion is packed with a lot of
teachings and revelations concerning Christ and his finished work at the cross.
We have made this devotional so that you as a believer can embark on a daily
journey of knowing who you are in Christ. By this you will be able to walk worthy
of the vocation wherein you were called. This book is not for a believer only but
for those also who haven’t received Christ. As you will be reading this devotional
you are going to find out about the good news of the Christ, how God loves you
so much and has sent Jesus to die for you so that being freed from dearth you
can inherit eternal life. Yes! eternal life. God loves you so much and this is the
gift that he has given to you by his Son Jesus.

PRAYER
WORD POWER
(Mathew 9:5-6) For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say,
Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to
forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go
unto thine house.
Friday April 2
This is going to be a shocking statement but did you know the reason why
most Christians fall sick a lot yet by the strips of Jesus they are healed is
because of failure to understand that their sins are forgiven. There is a
connection between sin and sickness, and healing and forgiveness. For
you to walk in divine health you need to walk in the reality that Jesus
became sin for you at the cross so that you can become the righteousness
of God in him. That is what Jesus was saying above. This man had received
healing from Jesus. Instead of Jesus telling the man that he was healed, he
said his sins were forgiven. He was just doing this so that the people may
understand that forgiveness of sins accompanies healing. Child of God
Jesus took upon himself your judgment, sicknesses and sins so that in him
you might walk in health and righteousness. If you are a Christian refuse to
be sick. Refuse that cancer. If the devil tries to plant into your mind that the
reason why you are sick is because God is punishing you for your sins you
need to be tell him that brother devil Jesus was punished for my sins so
leave me alone.
PRAYER
WORD POWER
(Romans 5:2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace
wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Saturday April 3
Most people think praying a lot is what makes you access more grace. We
have a lot of teaching which are circulating about grace. But this is the true.
The grace of God is already available through the death and resurrection of
Christ. We no longer need to pray for it. All we need to do is to walk by faith
because faith is what makes us possess what God has already given us.
That’s why scripture encourages us to meditate on the word of God so that
grace can be multiplied in our lives. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by
the word of God. So in conclusion we access grace by faith and faith
comes from the word. The more you read the word of God the more you
grow in faith and the more you can experience the grace of God in your life.
PRAYER
Than you Father for the riches of your grace. I stand boldly in
your grace by faith in Christ Jesus. I affirm that I received
unmeritable favor in my life not because of my works but because
of Jesus’s work.

Sunday April 4
PRAYER
(1 John 4:16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God
is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Monday April 5
For someone out there who has been asking himself that I have been
going through all this trouble yet there is God in heaven. Why do such
things continue to happen when God loves me so much? Well I am going
to answer you by saying, “God does love you so much and you are not
wrong in saying God loves you but you need to know how to receive his
love in your life. Scriptures says God so loved the (whole) world but the
verse ends by saying it is only those who believed who received eternal
life. So it is when you believe in the love of God that you are able to
experience it in your life. If you have not received Jesus as you Lord in
your life, I want you to know that when you receive Jesus it means you
have received the love of God in your life. So just confess and say
“Jesus I make you my Lord and I believe that you were raised from the
dead”
PRAYER
I am a child of God and I dwell in love. I confess that I walk in love even
as I am loved by God. Fear, depression and anxiety has no power over
me because there is a Father in heaven who loves me so much.
WORD POWER
(James 5:16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed……

WORD POWER
Wednesday April 7
I have heard some Christians say that it is very difficult to forgive this
person considering how much pain he has caused me. Some have even
taught that we should forgive and forget. I would like to say it this way
actually, instead of saying, “forgive and forget”, the correct and most
precise statement would be “forgive and let go”. You don’t necessarily
need to forget what the person did to you but after you forgive that person
you can choose to just let it go. In other words it does not hold any pain to
you because you are healed. When you talk about what that person did to
you, it’s no longer as if you are talking about a wound but you are now
describing a scare (a healed wound). I’m sure that you are going to say,
“What if I still feel hatred over that person after I have forgiven him, does it
mean that I did not forgive from the heart?” It does not mean that you
haven’t forgiven the person from your heart but it’s just the flesh trying to
still get into it. Remember the flesh always wars against the spirit. All you
have to do when you feel like there is still hatred in your heart is to rest by
faith. When you feel like there is that hatred coming just confess that Jesus
was wounded for my transgression and by his strips I am healed from all
anger and grudges that might try to fill my heart.
PRAYER
I can forgive others the same way that God has forgiven. I refuse to
hold grudges in my life. I walk in love and joy forgiving others in
Jesus name I pray amen.
WORD POWER
Philippians 4:13
You are forgiven
(1 John 2:1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin
not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for
ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Thursday April 8
(Ephesians 1:6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us
accepted in the beloved.
Friday April 9
Some Wow if you were someone who had a hard time believing that there is
someone who loves you, this should change your life. God in his word is
saying I have made you accepted in the beloved. You are not a nobody to
God. You are not just one of his creation but you are someone whom God
according to his purpose and grace has made accepted in Jesus. We are
the body of Christ. We are joint heirs with Christ, Hallelujah! Therefore child
of God don’t allow depression, fear and anxiety to fill your heart because
the very God who made this world and everything in it has made you
accepted in Jesus so that you can reign with him by his righteousness and
grace.
PRAYER
Romans 8:15-17
We reign in life by Jesus Christ
(Romans 5:17) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much
more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Saturday April 10
Every Because of Adams sin all fell short of the glory of God so that in
the like manner because of Jesus’s obedience all men who believe in his
name should be declared righteous. Even as sin reigned by Adam’s
transgression and death by sin, God is saying much more (exceedingly)
they that receive Jesus shall reign in life by his grace and righteousness.
God in that scripture is not talking about the life to come when we will be
in heaven but he is talking about this life. We are supposed to reign in
this life by the grace of Jesus and the gift of righteousness he has given
us. When you understand that you are righteous by faith you reign above
sickness, poverty and depression in this life. In the life to come there will
be no sickness, disease or lack. That’s why scripture says, “(Revelation
21:4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are passed away.” This is what it will be
like in heaven. Scriptures also say this about the day we are going to be
raptured, “(1 Corinthians 15:54) So when this corruptible shall have put
on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall
be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.” Great isn’t it? In heaven there will be no death, sicknesses and
poverty. There will be no tears, shame or disgrace but rather glory even
as we will be rejoicing in the lamb and his loving kindness. At some
stage as a Christian I thought God wanted me to enjoy his health,
abundance and love in heaven alone but as I grew that mindset changed.
I’m sure that after this devotional it will change in your life also. Our
glory in heaven will exceed the present glory exceedingly but there is
glory to talk about in this life as a Christian. In this life we reign above
sicknesses, poverty and pain by the God’s grace and his free gift of
righteousness. This is the same as what King David also prophesied
that, “he sets for me a table in the present of my enemies [Psalms 23:5].”
Though our enemies are still hear like death, diseases and poverty we
are supposed to reign by the free gift of righteousness in their presence.

1 Corinthians 4:8
Righteous is the number one need of the body of
Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Sunday April 11
A great man of God once said the number one need of the body of Christ is
righteousness. This is the mystery that unlocks all the blessings of God in
your life. That’s why Jesus said seek ye the kingdom of God and his
righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. I’m sure you
are going to say that if righteousness is what we need to reign in life we are
in big trouble? So I will answer you there. God said seek first my
righteousness not your righteousness. The righteousness which is of God
is received at Salvation and revealed by the gospel. That’s why Paul said,
“(Romans 1:16) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ:………………For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from
faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” The righteousness
that we testify to, because Jesus died and rose again, is the righteousness
by faith. If you are born again then you are righteous, not because of your
works but what Jesus did at the cross. When you pray always confess that I
am the righteousness of God in Christ. When you feel guilty and then you
fall sick after that and in your head you hear yourself say, “I deserve this
sickness because I sinned,” reject that thought and confess I am the
righteousness of God in Christ.
PRAYER
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am
righteousness apart from my performance because Jesus
became sin at the cross for me apart from his performance.
WORD POWER
Romans 8:1
Righteous by faith
Monday April 12
God There was a time when I preached that we should not pray asking God
for forgiveness if we are Christians because it’s not scriptural and no were
in the New Testament do we here God saying ask for forgiveness. He does
say confess your sins but he never said ask for forgiveness when you sin
because the moment you ask for forgiveness you are saying you are yet to
be forgiven of that sin and when you do that you nullify the eternity of what
Christ did at the cross. If you are Christian who is always crying God
forgive me of this and that or someone who is always praying saying God
tomorrow I will try by all means to live a righteous life it simply shows that
you are being ignorant to the word of God and the gospel of his grace. In
the new covenant we don’t pray asking forgiveness but we proclaim it.
When you understand that you are walking by faith. Not only do we
proclaim that we are forgiven eternally but we also proclaim that by the
resurrection of Christ we were ushered into the newness of life [Romans 6].
Therefore not only are you blameless before God even when you sin but
God has ushered you into the newness of life and you should walk in that
reality.
PRAYER
Luke 24:47
How can we continue to sin
(Romans 6:2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer
therein?
Tuesday April 13
The reason why I am preaching the way I preach is because I desire from
my heart that Jesus and his works at the cross becomes your reality. I
believe that in the unveiling of the gospel of Christ there is power to
salvation. Your standing in Christ is that you are not a sinner anymore
because we were crucified with Christ that we should henceforth not serve
sin [Romans 6:2]. One great man of God once said if you believe right you
will live right. If you believe in Jesus he will become your reality. That’s why
Jesus said whosoever will keep my word I will manifest myself to him [John
14:21]. I am inspired by the man of God, Apostle Paul, because to him
Jesus was his reality. He chose to live by Christ rather than by what he saw
or felt. Remember also that the life that we were called to as Christians is
the life of faith. Therefore as a Christian we walk not by sight but faith. I will
end by saying since you were crucified with Christ it is impossible for you
to continue sinning because the body of sin was destroyed that we should
henceforth not serve sin. When you believe this you are going to see that
the word of God is no just words but it can actually materialize and become
a reality not only to you but to those who will see you.

WORD POWER
Romans 6:6
We are an expression of the word
(2 Corinthians 3:2) Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read
of all men: forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of
Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living
God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Wednesday April 14
I once had a discussion with this friend of my and he wanted advice with
how he can evangelize at his workplace. I would agree with you that
sometimes it need boldness to evangelize at your workplace or school. You
are always thinking are they going to accept my word or what how are they
going to respond. Because of that I am going to show you another
dimension of evangelism. God does not want his word to remain on pages
but to be expressed by you and me. Remember God did not send angels to
tell us about him but he came as himself and John and all the Apostles
testified that they saw the word and it was full of glory [John 1:14]. God
came himself so that we would experience him that’s why Jesus was called
Emmanuel meaning, ‘God with us.’ This is the same also with you and me.
We are not just scholars of the word but we are an expression of the word.
This means when someone wants to know about Jesus, by simply seeing
how we live he can know him by us. Our theme scripture is saying we are
the epistle of Christ. When people see us they see the beauty and glory of
God’s love in Christ. When you realize that you are an expression of the
word it won’t be hard for you to preach Jesus at your workplace because it
becomes natural for you to talk about the word of God with anyone. It
becomes natural for you to present the gospel because when you present it
you are not just preaching to people but you are expressing yourself even
as you are in Christ.
PRAYER
I am an expression of the word of God. When I walk and talk Jesus is
made manifest in my life.
WORD POWER
John 13:3
Letter (written code) to grace
(2 Corinthians 3:13) And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that
the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is
abolished:
Thursday April 15
Usually when we preach about Christ and how that by his body we were
made free from the law of sin to death many questions arise. When I
preached it to a certain group their question was, “How can we live a
righteous life without the law of Moses?” What really troubles these people
is how is it possible for me not to steal without hearing that I should not
still. Well you also need to consider that how was it possible for Adam to
live a righteous live without been told do not steal or do not kill. The only
commandment that God gave Adam was that he should not eat the
forbidden fruit because in doing so he would die. It’s also true today. The
Holy Spirit is there to convict the world of one sin which is the sin of
unbelief in Christ. When Adam ate the fruit scripture records that sin
entered into the world and man become sinners because Adam had sinned.
And all of us we sinned because we were born sinners. That’s why God’s
idea of salvation involved the new birth. When Christ rose from the dead
this time we were to be born again not as sinners but as the righteousness
of God in Christ. That means being born again we were born with the nature
of righteousness. This means it’s no longer the Law that we need but the
revelation of who we are in Christ. That’s why Peter says we were born
again of incorruptible seed. This also means that to a believer we no longer
preach the law to them but we preach Christ to them. The Law itself was
made for an unrighteous man and it was there so that it could show the
sinfulness of man so that people could hope towards the Savior who is
Christ [1 Timothy 1:9]. The law is holy and the commandment just but the
law itself concluded all under sin so that no one can be justified by the law
[Romans 3:9-20]. The billion dollar question would be how is it possible for
a Christian not to steal when he is not told not to. It is possible because a
Christian is already a righteous man. What a Christian needs to know is
who he is in Christ, not what he shouldn’t do. That’s why the gospel of
Christ reveals the righteousness of God not the sinfulness of man [Romans
1:16-17]. That’s why we preach Christ because Jesus is the image of God
and as Christians we were born again with the same nature as that of God.
PRAYER
WORD POWER
(2 Corinthians 3:6) Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;
not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Friday April 16
Last time I explained how it is possible for a Christian to live a righteous life
without the law of Moses. The answer was that the Christian is already
recreated in righteousness. The Christian no longer needs the law but
rather the revelation of who he is in Christ that’s why we preach Christ
Jesus. The law was not placed to make the people righteous because if it
was so there would have been no need for Jesus to die. The reason why the
law was placed was so that all people may realize their sins and hope for
the Savior who is Christ and it was given to Israel, the seed of Abraham
according to the flesh, to whom the promise of Christ had been made.
That’s why the law had a lot of practices which were just pictures of what
was to come. Because the law was never given to the righteous man but
the sinner it had no choice but to condemn. We were already sinners before
the law because when Adam sinned sin entered into the world. When the
law then came sin revived and it wrought all manner of evil in me [ Romans
7:8-9]. It was not that the law was evil. The law itself was good, holy and
just but because it was given to a man who was already a sinner by nature
it had no option but to condemn. That’s why the law was so harsh and
difficult to keep. God’s intention when giving the law was not the save the
people but it was to mentor them and prepare them for the salvation that
was to come. When we were born again God didn’t give us the law this time
but he gave us his Spirit so that we may know those things which are freely
given to us. We don’t live a righteous life because we are trying to please
God or to get something from him but we live a righteous life because by
nature we are already righteous. The Holy Spirit was given so that it can
show us our inheritance. I will end by saying did you know that before a
child even inherits his Fathers cars and houses the first thing that he
inherits is the Fathers DNA. Before you even realized that since you are his
Son you are an heir of the universe the first thing that he wants you to
realize is that since you are his child you are righteousness just as he is
righteous. Since you are his child you are holy as he is because you carry
the DNA of God.

Saturday April 17
WORD POWER
Sunday April 18
The reasons why your emotions are the way they are is because of the
experience you have been through in life and the state of your soul. The
bible clearly shows us that man is a spirit and he has a soul and lives in a
body. The soul is the part of you which involves emotions, feelings and
your will. The same way that by bad eating habits you can harm your body
is also the same way you can damage your soul by receiving wrong
experiences. Sin is a bad thing to our spirit because it alienates us from
God but it is also bad to our soul because it damages our souls. When you
preach to people that don’t have sex before marriage or don’t watch
pornographic content usually some might take it as a joke. The reason why
you are having problems in your marriage might not even be because of
demons. The major reason might just be that you damaged your soul
during your youth days when you used to date and sleep with a lot of girls.
But now your soul is too wounded to such an extent that it’s now difficult
for you to response to the love of your spouse. Don’t be afraid though if
you are one of those who vexed his or her soul in this area. The reason why
I am writing this is that you can know that through Christ you were justified,
sanctified and washed [1 Corinthians 6:11]. This means that God no longer
claims you guilty of what you did. God has washed you with his word so
that you can still enjoy what God has for you without any guilty holding you
back. It means that God has declared you holy. Because the world that we
live in fallen even us believers we experience things that vex our souls
greatly. Maybe at a young age you might have been abused. Maybe you
might have been through a lot of trauma. God wants you to know that as
you feed upon his word you will find rest in your soul. As you feed on his
word it will wash you of all sin, pain and damage in your life. Remember
Jesus is a good Shepard and he is meek and lowly in spirit. When you allow
Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and to be your Shepard every day you
will find rest in your souls.
PRAYER
Jesus I thank you for the cleansing power of your word. I know
that I am cleansed of all sin in my life and not only that but you
have empowered me to walk in holiness so that I can enjoy all
that you have for me.

There is rest for your soul
Romans 5:6-8 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for

good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Matthew 11:25-30
Let us lay aside all these thing
(Ephesians 4:17) This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye
henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Wednesday April 21
The word henceforth can also mean “no longer.” In others word Paul is
saying we should no longer live our lives according to the standards of this
world. The people that Paul is writing to were once unbelievers before he
had preached to them and during that time they also had a way of living
which was according to the standards of their world. The same with you,
before you received Christ maybe you liked drinking and smoking and it
was definitely normal for you in that time because you were a sinner then.
But after you received Jesus it’s no longer normal for you to continue
smocking because you are now a righteous man. Maybe you used to be
very angry but you can’t continue being angry because in Christ you were
recreated in righteousness. This is what Paul was saying. We need to walk
in the newness of life. “Yes I used to smoke then but I can’t smoke now
because I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” this should be the kind
of lifestyle for you now. Therefore put on the new man who is created in
righteousness and true holiness. Put on love, joy, peace and holiness. You
used to be angry but be joyful. You used to be anxious and worried but
walk in peace now. You used to be jealous but walk in brotherly love now.
You used to curse and speak unwholesome word but speak words that
minister grace now. Remember that when you are doing all things it’s not a
way of trying to be righteousness but it’s a way of walking a righteous life
because in Christ you are already made righteous.
PRAYER
1 Peter 4:2
The ‘I am truth’
(2 Thessalonians 2:13) But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for
you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning
chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the
truth:
Thursday April 22
In the new covenant if you believe the truth not only will it set you free but it
will become a reality in your life. Most might ask how do we walk in
holiness. The answer is when you believe the truth you will live the truth.
When you believe Jesus you will live Jesus. Unlike religion, Christianity is
different. We are not trying to reach out to God because we know that God
has already reached out to us. Christianity is a life of rest because we are
no longer doing the work. Jesus has already done the work and our part is
to inherit. That means even when we live a holy life it is not out of our
efforts but it is out of Jesus’s efforts and by faith we are possessing what
Christ has already done for us. Let me give an example. When I am living a
holy life this is what I say when a friend asks me how am I able to do it; “I
am living a holy life not because I am trying to be holy but I am living a holy
life because I am already made righteous.” I am not trying to force my
efforts on becoming holy. I already know that Jesus become sin so that I
can become the righteousness of God in him and since I am righteous it is
normal for a righteous man to live a holy life. That’s why Paul calls it the
good fight of faith. It’s not a fight to attain but it’s a fight to possess what is
already given. It’s not an aggressive fight as some would say but it’s a fight
of resting in the promises of God. When you rest on the truth by faith you
will also see that the Holy Spirit will flow. When your life becomes like that
you are walking in true holiness. The Holy Spirit will always bear witness to
the truth and Jesus is the truth. This means every time you clam I am the
righteousness of God in Christ the Holy Spirit will flow in your life. Even
when you sin you can still claim that I am the righteousness of God in
Christ. Remember it’s not your works that qualified you to be righteous but
Jesus’s works. And because you are righteous by what Christ did at the
cross your works can now also be righteous.

How faith comes
(Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God.
Friday April 23
Most of us we have a problem in believing God and maybe you have come
to ask yourself so how then can I have faith. Maybe you are saying I am
trying by all means to believe God for a job or for a car but it just seems like
it’s not working out. Well faith is not that complicated as you would think. I
believe faith is very simple to have considering that without faith it’s
impossible to obtain salvation. Every Christian is a person of faith. If you
believe that Jesus is Christ you are a person of faith and honestly speaking
there is no new faith you have to attain after having faith for salvation. What
then is left is for you is to build upon that faith through reading the word of
God as you get to know your inheritance in Christ. In conclusion if you are
a believer you need to understand that you already have faith. The problem
is not that you don’t have faith but you just don’t know how to make your
faith work. As you continue to meditating on the word of God you will see
that your faith in Christ will be build up and you will experience the grace of
God at a deeper level in your life.
PRAYER
I believe that Jesus is the Christ the son of God. I affirm that
anyone who believes that Jesus is Christ is an overcomer.
Therefore I am an overcomer in my life in Jesus name.
WORD POWER
Romans 12:3
Without faith it is impossible to please him
(Hebrews 11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.
Saturday April 24
I love the strong connection that is there between faith and grace.
During the time when Jesus was walking on earth he was the
complete expression of the grace of God. That’s why John says grace
and truth came by Jesus Christ. There was a time when Jesus met up
with a leaper. The leaper said to Jesus, “(Matthew 8:2) Lord, if thou
wilt, thou canst make me clean.” Like this leaper most of us including
even Christians we don’t doubt the ability of God. We know that God
is able to do anything for us. What most of us doubt is his
willingness. In other words this leaper was sure Jesus could heal but
what he wasn’t sure about is that Jesus is an expression of the grace
of God. The response of Jesus was interesting; “(Matthew 8:3) And
Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou
clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Wow! Jesus not
only answered this leaper but he also answered us. Jesus is willing to
heal, deliver and save us. I know I am writing to someone who is
saying I have done a lot of bad things and this time I don’t believe
God will forgive me. I want you to know that Jesus is the atonement
for our sins. It means God is saying I have forgiven you already come
back and receive healing. If you are not a Christian I want you to
know this wonderful news. God send Jesus to die for you so that you
can receive forgiveness of sins. All you have to do is just to say,
‘Jesus I make you my Lord today”. In conclusion when you come to
God believe in his grace. Faith comes when you hear about the grace
of God.

WORD POWER
Galatians 3:23-24
His arms are wide open
(Luke 15:20) And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet
a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and
fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Sunday April 25
The scripture above is from the story of the prodigal son. This son
asked his Father for his inheritance and when it was given to him, he left
his Father and went into a foreign country to enjoy his inheritance. This
also answers some of your question about prosperity. The concern with
God is not for you to become rich but where and how you enjoy your
riches. This prodigal son thought that he would actually enjoy to the
fullest since Papa wouldn’t be around to tell him that don’t do this and
that. I know some of my fellow youths do that and I want to tell you that
you are being foolish if you are one of them. Sadly the son later on
found out that he couldn’t sustain his prosperity out of the presence of
his Father so he become poor and worse of all a famine arose in that
country. It was when poverty had hit him to such an extent that he was
now feeding on pig’s food, that he realized that even my father’s
servants lived a better life than this and its rather better to return to my
Father and serve him as a servant. What was the most interesting part
of this story was the Fathers response to his son. When the Father saw
that his son was coming back from afar it was the father who then and
kissed his son in love. I want you to know that God loves you so much
and not even sin can diminish his love for you. I am not saying continue
in sin but I am saying let go of sin. How can we continue in sin having a
loving Father who has graced us with Jesus Christ.
PRAYER
Than you Father because your arms are wide open. Not even
sin was able to separate me from your love. Thank you for
loving me dearly.
WORD POWER
(Romans 6:1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace
may abound?
Monday April 26
I am sure you are going to agree with me that God loves you irrespective
of your performance. Whether you have sinned or have not sinned God
loves you. Especially if you are a Christian you can be confident enough
that nothing can separate you from his love even including sin itself. I
love what God showed me from his word. The reason why we no longer
live in sin is because we have known and believed the love that God has
for us. That’s why John says he that knows God cannot sin. It is when
we understand the love of God and his grace that our lives are
transformed and minds enlightened that we cannot live in sin. This is the
scripture that God showed me that I believe it will bless you; “(Psalms
36:7) How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children
of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.” It is because of
God’s grace and love that we have found rest by faith in Christ. I always
say the only reason why a Christian can continue in sin is because of
ignorance or lack of knowledge. Sin itself was causing death in our lives
and scripture says the wages of sin is death. God by his love then saw it
meet that Jesus should taste death on behalf of all men and their sins.
When you understand how much God loves you and what he went
through to deliver you from your sins you will never want to continue in
sin not because you are afraid of God’s judgment but because you know
how much God loves you.
PRAYER
Thank you Father for loving me to such an extent that you send
Jesus do die instead of us. Because we are loved and forgiven
much we also love much.
WORD POWER
(1 John 1:8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Tuesday April 27
You can’t receive from God what you don’t need. For example in the word
of God we know that Jesus took away the sin of the whole world and if you
say that you have no sin you would be lying. This scripture is not saying
that as Christians we are still sinning because John later on says, “(1 John
2:1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if
any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous:” You are also going to see that he continues to explain it more
further in his book that a Christian has ceased from sinning. It does not
mean that Christians live a sinless life but it simply means you are reigning
by the righteousness of God. It means you are walking in the reality of the
cross. God in that scripture is also saying don’t focus on your
righteousness but on Christ’s righteousness. We are righteous not because
of our performance but because of Jesus’s performance and because we
are righteous by Christ we are able to live a righteous life.

(1 Corinthians 13:12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face
to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Wednesday April 28
PRAYER
Father I thank you that every time I see Jesus in your word I am
being transformed into him. I also look forward to the rapture
because we know that we shall see him as he is.
WORD POWER
(Colossians 1:17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Thursday April 29
The sun is not only our source of light but it provides the centripetal
force required to keep all the planets in the solar system in orbit. This
means without the sun the earth would drift out of orbit and loose
balance. This is the same with our relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the
light that shinned in the darkness. Everything is kept in orbit and
balance because of the force and power in Christ. Without Christ life not
only looses illumination but it looses balance. Maybe you are someone
who is always struggling with depression and mental retardation. I want
you to know that in Christ your life can hold up. In Christ you marriage
can hold up, your relationships can hold up. Forgive me to those who
dropped science in high school but I am going to give another scientific
illustration. I have already explained that our fellow brother earth gets
his balance from the centripetal force provided by the gravitational pull
of the sun. You also need to know that the motion of the earth is affected
by the sun. There is a relation between the radius of orbit of the earth
and the force provided by the sun. The earth not only gets balance from
the sun but its motion is controlled but the sun. This means the earth
rotates at the same frequency at which the sun gravitates. In simple
English all I am saying is that as you allow Christ to be the center of
your life you will walk at the same frequency at which Jesus radiates his
glory to you and this frequency is called love. You will walk in love,
hallelujah! Always know that in Christ everything in your life will hold up.
If you are some who is saying Jesus is not yet the center in my life
because I haven’t received him yet just say, Lord Jesus I receive you
into my heart in Jesus name I pray Amen.
PRAYER
Thank you Jesus because in you all things hold up. My life,
career, friendships and relationships hold up in you Jesus.

Matthew 11:25-30
Without Jesus you can have plenty but with
Jesus you have everything
(Genesis 33:9-11) And Esau said, I have enough (rab ), my brother; keep
that thou hast unto thyself……… Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is
brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I
have enough (kole, kole ). And he urged him, and he took it.
Friday April 30
