LANGUAGE OPTIONS 
Voice overs are available in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English. 

The game (written dialogue and UI) is available in Traditional and Simplified 
Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese 
(Brazil), Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. 

FPS CAP AND ULTRAWIDE SUPPORT 


The PC client offers ultrawide support.  

FPS is capped at 60 (for now?) 

CROSS-PLAY AND CROSS-SAVE 


It has been ​officially confirmed​ ​that the game has ​cross-play​ enabled between all 
platforms, so you can do co-op and team up with players from any platform (PC, 
PS4, Android, iOS). The only limitation is that they must be in the same server as 
you. Note that within Global, NA and EU each has one separate server. 

Cross-save​ is enabled between PC and mobile to keep your adventure progress and 
purchases, but this is not possible with PS4. 

FREE TO PLAY - GACHA 


How is this game free? How are the developers making money? 

The game is free to play and no purchase is necessary (not even on PS4 where the 
pre-order bundle is optional), however many of the characters and weapons are 
only obtainable through gacha. Since Primogems (the premium currency) and Fate 
(items used to pull from gacha) are obtainable just by playing the game, all the 
content can be unlocked without spending any real money, however your 
progression will be much slower. 
The developers monetize the game through the sale of Primogems, Monthly Cards, 
Battle Pass and cosmetic items. 

STAMINA* SYSTEM (RESIN) 


As in many other mobile/gacha games, there is a stamina system in place which 
limits how many times you can collect drops from bosses and dungeons. It does not 
limit what content you can clear, however once cleared, you will not be able to take 
the drops until your stamina is replenished or you use items to refill it (plenty are 
given for free as various rewards). Since this is an open world game, however, 
having no stamina left is not as limiting as in other games. 

*Stamina is referred to as “resin”. The term “stamina” is actually used for your 
sprinting, climbing and swimming gauge. 

MAP SIZE 
The size of the map is 20-30 square km. Currently, 2 regions are available out of the 
7 that the game will have in the future, so the size is expected to grow substantially. 

SINGLE PLAYER VS MULTIPLAYER 


Genshin Impact is mainly a single player game, it is NOT an MMORPG. The game 
does have a co-op system in which you can invite a friend (or a random person 
from a list) to join your world. Once they do so - with up to 4 players total in a party 
- you can all explore the world of the host player. During this time, there are some 
limitations in place listed below, and all changes made to the world like killing 
bosses or gathering materials will only affect the host world. When players leave 
the host’s world, those things will not have happened in their own world, but 
players will get to keep items collected.  

It is also possible to co-op in dungeons via an automated matchmaking system. 


-Things you CAN do in co-op: 

Daily commissions, domains (dungeons), hunting World Bosses (loot to be picked 


up by the host only), unlocking hidden chests that require 2 people to trigger, 
gathering resources from a different world, special co-op events. 

-Things you CANNOT do in co-op as a visitor of another world: 

Main story quests, abyss, opening chests, looting from bosses, collecting anemoculi, 
geoculi, etc. 

Note: You need to be Adventure Rank level 16 to unlock co-op.
