MEMORANDUM
On February 22, 2021, The team Enforcement CENRO-4A, Conducted ground Investigation on the
alleged illegal cutting of trees in Sitio Palipayen, Brgy. Upper Dado, Cotabato. The team arrived at around 1:
00 o’clock in the afternoon at police station Alamada for having a proper coordination and ask assisstance.
After a few conversation, the team proceeded to Brgy. Upper Dado together with PNP Alamada for having a
proper coordination and asked some information regards the said alleged illegal cutting of trees.
The team DENR and PNP Alamada personnel arrived at around 2: 00. O’clock in the afternoon at
Brgy. Upper Dado, Alamada, the Brgy. Chairman and other Brgy. Officials was around on that day, after a few
conversation with Brgy.officials, the team DENR, PNP Alamada personnel and Brgy. Officials composite or
joint prceeded to the area particular in sitio Palipayen, Brgy, Upper Dado, Alamada and we arrived the area
at 2:30 pm.,Unfortunately we found abandoned stockpiled flitches lumber of EGIM Tree. Through the scale
of team, the items (54) pieces in assorted dimension with the total of eight hundred nine (809) board feet
more or less.
We believed that species an naturally grown and strickly prohibited to cut or slash under the PD.
705., Sec. 77. The team tried to traced up the responsible person of occurred illegal cutting of tress through
the inquired of some residents of the area but, they did not give any detail. We decided to haul the item
from the area to barangay hall of Brgy. Upper Dado for the temporary custody and safekeeping.

MEMORANDUM
Please be informed that undersigned personnel have monitored the cutting of trees affected by
DPWH road widening projects located in along the national highway Libungan, Cotabato covered by three
barangays such as Barangay Ulamian, Barangay Sinawingan and Barangay Bateocan.
On march 23, 2021 we have proper coordinated the aboved mention barangays to informed them
that all trees to be cut covered by their barangays they should have custody for safekeeping purposed and all
them agreed that they would be in custody. After the coordination of three barangays we immediatly
proceeded to the area and verify/checked status of the said trees affected by DPWH road widening projects,
When we arrived at the area the trees remained standing and had not been cut due the some lived wire
obstacle.
