The English article

The English Language, unlike Romanian, has a much small number of articles. These
dont concern gender and are of two types
 definite article
 indefinite articles

Definite article (articolul hotărât)

There is only one definite article in English – „the”
The definite article is used to show the unicity of the noun it attaches to.

Indefinite article (articolul nehotărât)

There are two indefinite articles in English, but they have the same use, given English
doesn’t use genders. The only difference between the two articles is the word they are used
for:
1. a – used for words starting with a consonant (e.g. a car, a mouse, a teacher)
2. an – used for words starting with a vowel (e.g. an arrow, an apple, an elephant)

English language also has a plural indefinte article - „some” (niște/câțiva) that is used
regardless of the first letter of the word (some cars, some mice, some arrows, some elephants)
