PRESENT SIMPLE: PRESENT CONTINUOUS:
- for timetables, programmes or - for arrangements (activities that
people with plans that are fixed like you would note down on your diary)

EXAMPLE: The film starts at 21:30.

1. Look at Tanya’s diary and complete the dialogue:

Tom: Hi Tanya! Are you free for lunch on Monday Thursday

Tanya: No, sorry. I am meeting some clients Cyberdyn
from Cyberdyn – the software company. Tuesday Friday

Tanya: So sorry. It’s Carla’s birthday and we are eating out to celebrate it.
Tom: Why don’t we meet on Saturday morning?
Tanya: I are eating out to the spa with Alice. We need to relax.
But I’m free on Sunday.
Tom: I’m not! I guess we can meet next week.
I’ll call you next Sunday and we arrange something. See you.
2. Complete the dialogue with the present simple or continuous:

Sharon: I travel (travel) to New York on a business trip.
