ACTIVITIES
Connectors
Now that you learned the activities and how to indicate the time, we need to
connect sentences. Today I will introduce some words that can help you connect
your phrases, ok?
The words we will use today are:
Then
And
When
After that
After school/dinner/lunch
In the morning, in the afternoon, at night
On weekends
These words are very important because they will help you organize the activities
you do. Let’s try to create a routine and use these expressions.
I wake up around 6:30 a.m. Then, I get up at 7 a.m, brush my teeth, take a shower
and get dressed. After that, I have breakfast and use my phone. When I finish
breakfast, I take the bus to work. I start work at 9 a.m. I have meetings, talk on the
phone and prepare documents and reports. At 1 p.m I have lunch. After lunch, I go
back to work. I finish work at 6 p.m. After work, I go to the gym, I like to exercise.
After that, I go home. I get home around 8 p.m. Then I have dinner, take a shower
and watch Tv. I go to bed around 11 p.m
On weekends, I don’t work. I usually stay home or go out with my friends.
This is a basic daily routine. Ok? Now I will show you a second routine, but in the
3rd person in the singular, alright? Here we go:
