    Name: Jenalyn Bugaay Grade 11 – ABM A

    Activity 4: Try to develop a paragraph by using the definition method. Choose one topic from the words
    listed below. Define the term and expand it by description or giving examples.

    Family

    Family members are frequently similar. They believe they should depend on one another for loving advice
    and encouragement. A family could include grandparents, aunts and uncles, godparents, or close friends. What
    matters is the passion or shared values that binds them together. To others, the real definition of family is a
    group of individuals who are bound by blood or ancestry. Others believe it is more about caring, kindness, and
    support, rather than genes. The term "family" can mean a variety of things.

    I believe the family extends beyond bloodlines, last names, and responsibilities. To me, the term "family"
    refers to all of the people in our lives who commit to unconditionally loving and supporting us. It is not a
    passive birthright, but rather an option, a practice of kindness that allows us to succeed as individuals and as a
    society.

    Family means having someone who loves you unconditionally beyond your flaws. And when it is difficult,
    family members love and embrace one another. It is being the best person you can be in order to encourage your
    loved ones. Family does not see color, race, creed, or culture; instead, it sees the heart. Since we realize that
    other things and forces tie us, family isn't all about being biologically related. Family is unwavering, secure, and
    dependable. Family isn't just important; it's the most important thing!
