    The grade six learners of DSFES enjoy studying and can focus on their school
    works because they feel comfortable in their learning spaces. Parents see to it that
    during class hours, gadgets are only for school-related activities not for leisure.

    Indicator #2: The learning space is well-lighted.

    Well-lighted learning space allows learners to concentrate better on their studies


    which increases their productivity. This is very helpful because learners can move
    freely and do their tasks properly.

    Indicator #3: The learning space is well-ventilated.

    Most of the Grade six learners choose to study outside their rooms to have a great
    ventilation. Cool areas in their houses make a very satisfying learning station.

    Indicator #4: The parent / guardian guides the learner in doing his / her school work.

    Parents are of great help for the teachers and for the school in implementing the
    “new normal” set-up in education for they are the ones guiding their children in
    doing their learning tasks and school works.

    Indicator #5: The instructional materials are delivered on time and are ready for learner’s
    utilization.

    Learning modules were distributed to parents for students’ utilization following the
    safety protocols. Teachers make sure that all the learners were given instructional
    materials as early as possible so that they can do their tasks with enough time.

    Indicator #7: Routine activities are strictly carried out by the learners.

    Before facing their modules, learners were reminded by the teachers through their
    WHLP and guided by their parents to do their daily routine activities such as fixing
    their beds, helping in house chores, doing their hygiene routine, eating their meals
    on time and praying to seek guidance from the Lord.

    Teachers see to it that they spend time visiting their learners and have a little
    dialogue to ask matters regarding their studies.

    One of the major challenges that the school experiences is having non-readers. And
    as an intervention, teachers visit their learners to assist them and give remediation to
    all their learners so that no student will be left behind.

    Indicator #10: Corrective measure is imposed to the learner who deviates from the
    standard set by the teacher, parent or guardian.

    Learners’ concerns were addressed by the teachers through home visitation or video
    chat to discuss school-related issues that affect their learning. Learners who seem to
    be not interested in studying were given advice and counselling to remind them the
    importance of education.
