Name: TANUDRA, JANBER ENGELL GABRIEL, G.

Course, Year & Section: BTLED IA II

1. How will technological tools for teaching and learning promote the salient features of the K
to 12 Curriculum? *
By assisting in both teaching and learning, technological aids for teaching and learning
enhance the key aspects of the K–12 curriculum. Digital learning tools, such as PCs, laptops, and
various hand-held devices, infuse classrooms with technological resources. Students'
experiences and learning materials are expanded and supported through the use of technology.
And it is for this reason that 21st-century skills are being developed, as well as student
participation. As technology is integrated into the curriculum, it revolutionizes the learning
process. The integration of technology into the curriculum is increasingly enhancing students'
learning processes and performance. Teachers who regard machines as problem-solving tools
change the way they teach. This generation's modernity has adapted to them, as well as for
students to become aware of technology and to teach them how to protect themselves from
needless things. Students can use technology to study topics, share ideas, and master
specialized skills. Technology provides for such flexibility in learning that it helps our students to
collaborate more effectively.
2. What are the 21st Century skills that are highly required to be developed by your field of
specialization? Rank them in terms of the identified standards and competencies of your
curriculum guide. *
These are the skills needed to be developed in order to be globally competitive. Ranks 1-
4 are the learning skills which includes Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Collaborating and
Communicating. Ranks 5-8 includes Flexibility and adaptability, Global and cultural awareness,
Information literacy and Leadership and ranks 9-13 Civic literacy and citizenship, Oral and
written communication skills, social responsibility and ethics, technology literacy and initiative.
Having these 21st century skills. These abilities have always been vital for students, but they are
even more so in today's information-based industry. Knowing a trade, following directions,
getting along with people, working hard, and being professional which means efficient, timely,
honest, and fair were all essential qualities for most workers in industry. Schools have done a
good job of teaching these abilities, and students have benefited much from it.
