This game is all about patience and planning, so don't rush anything, short term progression
means nothing for the end game, always save your resources and have a plan on how to
use them, later in this guide I will be going over most of the resources and how to use them
effectively.
After you have completed your tutorial, start doing Bootcamp and achievements, they should
give you decent amount of resources but don't rush them. For your team, you can use
anything and upgrade them to 5*- 9* but don't level up fodders above lvl 100. Your goal
should be getting a good T4 because that's when the game really begins.
To make a T4 hero, you need 9 copies of that hero with 5 9* fodder and 1 10* fodder, so try
to build a team of fodders and avoid making heroes that are good and hard to get copies, the
reason being, you will be really short on flags and 5-6* fodders so making heroes you can
neither fodder nor T4 will slow your progress down. (In 13.0 I have explained which heroes
you should ideally build as your first T4)
Tip: For your fodder team you can use heroes like Luna, Medusa, Aden, Saw machine, etc.
These heroes do well in 6-9* team and are fodders for later on.
FAQ:
What does T4 mean?
There are 4 talents that you can awaken after a hero reaches 10* (golden star), hence T4.
It's the max star level a hero can reach.
You shouldn't use your miracle eyes outside of the miracle event. To complete the event you
need to have 100 eyes in total or 83 (if you can summon 2 Heaven and 2 Hell heroes,
because the Heroic Ruins event comes together with the Miracle event and you get 1
Miracle eye per day while the event is running).
It's recommended to summon for Heaven and Hell since they are rare and harder to get.
With the miracle shards you get from summoning you can try to convert your desired Hero of
a different faction but in general Horde is best faction to convert in
(You can’t convert Heaven/Hell Heroes).
Using rare heroes (heroes that don't have a 4* version) gives you better odds than using
common heroes and there are certain rare heroes with a slightly higher chance to convert
into a good hero:
King Lionheart (Alliance), Abyss lord (Horde), Orphee (Elf), Demon fighter (Elf) and Cursed
one (Undead)
Gold keys offers old top tier heroes as well as new heroes, tho the old heroes offered are
good, you get their copies really slow since the up chest hero is different than the hero
offered, so I would recommend saving 3 rounds of keys and pulling for a new hero, during
their release event, the up chest also offers the new hero, meaning you get almost twice the
amount of copies and you also get extra rewards from awakening event.
The best way to get keys is from doing peaks every week, as long as you get min 4 wins, it's
a good value, if you can average around 6 wins, it's even better. You should get average 60+
keys each week just doing peaks. Outside of that mainly fuse event give good amount of
keys but it will take time until you can pull keys and start doing fuse but slowly you should be
able to as you get 4* and 3* shards from daily event.
Ideally you shouldn't pull fortune tokens until you reach 121 lvl, after you do reach 121 lvl,
pull fortune tokens during a fortune wheel event, the heroes offered in fortune wheel event
are generally fodder so instead of completing one round, just pull 150 for Eyes and Advance
wheel tokens.
There are 2 Hero which can be worth to buy with feathers and those are Verthandi and
Vivienne, you can buy them as many times as you want since the items don't get sold out in
the feather shop. Outside of those 2 Heros it is only advised to buy the blue dog food and
the yellow dog food. They are used for your familiar to level them up and level their skills.
You should only use your guild coins to upgrade your guild tech, the reason for that is that
each point you invest in your guild tech increases the strength of all heroes from that class
permanently, the important ones will be Cleric, Mages and Warrior in most cases,
upgrading tech does cost a lot of gold and guild coins so you should save them until you
have decided your first T4 and upgrade that class first.
I would recommend upgrading your tech in this order:
Note: Above mentioned order is based on what buffs heroes from those classes need, some
heroes benefit from certain buffs while others don't. Also note that, Hp is equally important
for all so upgrade it to 60/100 or so and leave it until you have maxed the other buffs
After you are done with the techs that are needed, you can upgrade the rest for void as the
heroes in Void cage are affected by your guild tech or you can go for some of the viable
heroes in guild shop: Vivienne and Vegvisir, both are excellent heroes and end game viable
but keep in mind they shouldn't be your first T4 as they are mainly support heroes.
There are only some heroes worth getting from soul shop; Freya, Dettlaff and Vegvisir are
good choices, tho it's better to buy multiple heroes before resetting, it takes much longer so if
one of them is your first t4, I recommend focusing on one of them and buy their copy and
then resetting.
Gems are the premium currency in this game, which you get from multiple sources. The best
way to get them would be watching ads daily, waiting for monster invasion and doing daily
quests.
The best usage of your gems would be for doing peaks, other than that buying gold souls for
500 gems everyday when it starts becoming a bottleneck for you and buying good deals
from secret treasure if they are available.
You mainly get flags from progressing in Plant trial (PT), after you have gotten a T4, you
should be able to reach 100+ stages in PT, but you can only claim the chest once every 10
stage and depending on how far you have climbed in PT, you get flags every other day (If
you have climbed 100 stages, you get 10 flags every time that trial is available). There are 5
trials and each has 2 faction bans, meaning you can't use heroes from those banned
factions.
Outside of PT, you get flag chests from achievements, fuse event, void shop and from idling
(from Hard mode onwards).
I recommend idling in stages 5 or 10 since flags drop in those stages alone and that can be
a passive income of flags for you, lastly buy flags from void shop whenever you can.
10.0 How should you manage your tavern quests?
There is a tavern event which requires you to complete 20 4* tavern quests, 15 5* tavern
quests, 3 6* tavern quests and 1 7* tavern quests every 2 weeks. You get 4 quests each day,
reset all quests below 4* with gems, use the blue and brown books if you when you need
more quests.
The best way to handle the shards is to just keep them until you need them for the fuse
event or heroic ruins, outside of that there is no real need to open them unless you're really
desperate for a chance to get a specific hero or you need fodder to progress.
The best familiar is Raphael, because her 2nd skill can be upgraded 20 times and each
upgrade gives 1% true dmg (20% in total) so by maxing that skill you get more dmg overall,
other than that, you should max the 4th skill that gives +40 speed, skip the first skill, it's not
needed and max Dodge (3rd skill) if you ever build a Dodge tank, other than that it's not
really needed.
Since the first skill isn't useful as of now, you can skip it and save 270.4M gold and 33k dog
snacks
With moonstones, you should first buy at least 3 starshards, it's an artifact that gives the
holder +50 energy, which means that hero can use it's active skill on round 1, heroes like
Skuld, Vegvisir, Freya, Vivienne, etc need energy to be really good so it's suggested to get at
least 3 of them for your team. Other than starshards, the only other heroes worth buying
would be HH heroes, mainly Skuld, as she is must have in almost all teams.
Your first T4 should be a damage carry, don't make support heroes as your first T4.
Note-1: The heroes mentioned below are there because they are easily obtainable and do
good in early game while also being useful in late game, whether it be PvP or PvE.
Note-2: This is NOT a tier list of the best first t4, if a hero isn't here doesn't mean they aren't
good t4s, it just means they are way harder to obtain.
● Dettlaff - Great first t4, can one shot almost all other t4s but really bad before
reaching T4 so keep that in mind, falls off later in PvP but stays relevant for PvE
progress, good for void boss dmg.
● Freya - Good throughout the game, works well with Vegvisir to CC enemies, shines
in PvE for her rng.
● Verthandi - Good dmg tank with decent buffs as well, good filler hero in most teams
but falls off later.
● Ripper - Great for early to mid game, requires some tweaking here and there, maybe
usable late game PvP with Hodur and other sustain heroes but needs high
optimization and hasn't been tested enough yet.
If you are a small spender than buying the monthly card (9.99$ for first card and then
14.99$) is a really good deal, other than that there are occasional events where good
artifacts like Ragnarok, Totg, Oracle, etc are pretty cheap ( 30-50$) but they are very rare
and also consider buying PT deals, they put flags for pretty cheap especially after you climb
higher stages.
As a medium spender or higher, you should consider buying Monthly card (14.99$) and
should consider saving for Ragnarok, Totg and other good artifacts (usually around
100-150$ won't recommend purchasing for higher price), new hero packages are also pretty
good deals since they offer Red skin and a copy with other resources.
Consider buying Growth funds if you plan to play for long enough, it's a very good deal and
avoid flash offers with gold, purple, pet food, gems etc, and most of the daily, weekly,
monthly deals they aren't good value.
Tip: Even if you are a FTP, I would recommend buying the 1.99$ Mini card, that takes you to
VIP 1 and by reaching that, you will get more idling rewards, more quests in tavern and
increases your purchase limit of daily event from 2 to 3 which helps a lot in the long run.
From daily market, there isn't much that's worth buying in early game except purple souls for
gold, 200 gem pack isn't really worth it but it helps so you can buy it for a week or two of
starting out and then stop, then purchase arena tickets for 50k gold (don't buy the gem ones)
and later on when gold souls become a bottleneck to you, you can start buying gold souls for
gems everyday but it's not recommended early on.
