1. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
i. Change the mindset of workers toward safety-first attitude, which is to elevate safety
and health at the workplace to the same level as other business functions in the
industry, and to practice it at the highest standard possible.
ii. Provide the basic training for contractor’s workers on the recognition of the hazards
and risks present in the oil and gas industry, and the precautionary and control
measures necessary to ensure safe and healthy working conditions and minimize
accidents at the workplace. The training also provides the necessary knowledge on
laws affecting safety and health at the workplace, specifically the Occupational
Safety and Health Act 1994 and its Regulations.

2. TARGET GROUP(S):
i. Employees and Contractors Workers working at Oil and Gas Plants and subsidiaries.

3. ENTRY REQUIREMENT(S):
i. Have attended and passed Oil & Gas Safety Passport (OGSP) course
(Participant is allowed to attend OGSPR within 2 years after expiry date).

ii. Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.


iii. Able to access and participate in e-learning platform.
iv. Must have device (laptop) to participate in e-learning platform.
v. Must have good internet facilities.

i. M1: Permit to Work System (PTW) & Lock-Out Tag-Out System (LOTO).
ii. M2: High Risk Activities.
iii. M3: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
iv. M4: Behaviour Safety (BS).
v. M5: Process Safety Management (PSM) & Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC).
vi. M6: Transport Safety.
vii. M7: Schedule Waste Management.
