1.4 Prepare and successfully defend a research proposal within the probationary period (The first six (6) months of
candidature).
1.5 Publish at least two (2) articles in a refereed journal, and present at least two (2) papers in a recognized conference or
seminar before the submission of thesis for examination.

2. This offer is subject to the following conditions:

2.1 Acceptance and agreement to comply with all University statutes, regulations, rules, and policies which are in effect and
may be revised from time to time.

2.2 Medical Fitness Certificate (Compulsary for International Candidiates only)

i. The certificate (including x-ray) is to be submitted together with your Reply Slip.
ii. All charges incurred for the medical expenses are to be borne by the applicant.
