Chapter 1 Introduction

1.1 Project Introduction

First Google Classroom is a web-based platform that helps to manage
planning, resources, assignments and communication between yourself and your
class. If your account, doesn't have one already, you'll need to sign up for a  Education
account. There are some events within the Digital Class that are not within the Google
Classroom. The problem within the Google Classroom is that the student can also
become an independent teacher, he create an account as teacher While not so within
the digital classroom .We develop a Digital Class, is an online android-based mobile
phone application for academia including faculty members, students and parents. The
overall objective of this app is to provide online platform for teachers, students and
parents to manage and stay informed about teacher/student educational activities,
keep-in-touch with class, schedule, electronic resources, announcements, and
communication among themselves along with reporting feature. Teachers and
students can keep track of all assignments that are due and teachers can see who has
completed their work and feedback in real time to students. Work can be graded and
resubmitted too, if required.

1.1.1 Main Theme

These online reading activities will help your students practice main idea and
supporting details, and also contain graphic organizers to use with any text. This is a
paperless Slides resource. This product. This application will engage all users in a
collaborative social environment to improve overall learning experience through
online interaction. Moreover, it will inform all registered participants with latest
updates about class activities, schedules, results anytime anywhere, help students to
track their performance, assist teachers to manage e-resources as well as students at
the same time.

1.1.2 Scope of the Project

A system context diagram (SCD) in software engineering and systems

engineering is a diagram that defines the boundary between the system, or part of a
system, and its environment, showing the entities that interact with it. This diagram is
a high level view of a system. It is similar to a block diagram. The context level
diagram of the system can be as follows.

A well-defined scope sets expectations among the project stakeholders. It identifies

the external interfaces between the system and the rest of the world. The scope
definition helps the project manager assess the resources needed to implement the
project and make realistic commitments. In essence, the scope statement defines the
boundary of the project manager’s responsibilities.I’ll define project scope as: “The
portion of the ultimate product vision that the current project or iteration will address.
The scope draws the boundary between what’s in and what’s out for the project.” The
second part of the project scope definition is most important. The scope identifies
what the product is and is not, what it will and won’t do, what it will and won’t
contain.

needed to maintain long-term high standards in education services.

1.3 Conclusion and Future Prospectus

Technology has gained importance in all stages of education yet educators have been
unable to figure out which of the many available technological tools best fit their class
practices. Digital Class is one such tool that is free of cost and has gained popularity
within a short span of time. The main purpose of the study is to assess teachers’
perception on the effectiveness of Digital Class. The study is carried out through a
qualitative research design.
