    THE TAMILNADU DR MGR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

    SCHEDULE / RE-SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATIONS

    In lieu of the COVID pandemic situation, the Government of Tamil Nadu

    has issued G.O. (Ms) No. 328 dated 23.03.2021, by which it is ordered that all

    Government and Self-financing institutions running Medical and Paramedical

    courses shift all classes online and on-going examinations be completed by

    31.03.2021.

    It is also noted that travel and other restrictions are likely to increase.

    In concordance with the same, the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical

    University makes the following modifications / re-scheduling in the scheme of

    proposed examinations for various courses / streams / disciplines:

    1. MEDICAL

    (a) M.D./M.S. (Broad Specialities) Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    Schedule will be confirmed / Re-scheduled dates will be announced

    after discussion with the Director of Medical Education.

    (b) M.B.B.S.

    III MBBS - Part-II Scheduled for 8th April 2021

    Schedule will be confirmed / Re-scheduled dates will be

    announced after discussion with the Director of Medical Education.


    III MBBS - Part-I Scheduled for 23rd April 2021

    a. If the institutions re-open on or before 3rd May 2021, the Written

    Examinations will be held from 17th May 2021 onwards; Dates of

    Practical Examinations will be announced later.

    b. If the institutions open after 3rd May 2021, Written Examinations

    will be held after 7th June 2021; Dates of Practical Examinations will

    be announced later.

    II MBBS Scheduled for 30th April 2021

    a. If the Institutions re-open on or before 3rd May 2021, the Written

    Examinations will be held from 7th June 2021 onwards; Dates of

    Practical Examinations will be announced later.

    b. If the Institutions re-open after 3rd May, the Examinations will be

    held after 14th June 2021; Dates of Practical Examinations will be

    announced later.

    2. DENTAL

    (a) M.D.S.

    Schedule will be announced later.

    (b) B.D.S.

    Schedule will be announced later.

    3. AYUSH
    (a) M.D. Siddha Scheduled for May 2021

    I year examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (b) M.D. Yoga & Naturopathy Scheduled for May 2021

    I year examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (c) M.D. Homoeopathy Scheduled for May 2021

    I year examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (d) B.S.M.S. I, II, III & Final BSMS Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    These examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (e) B.N.Y.S. I, II, III & Final BNYS Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    These examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (f) B.U.M.S. I, II, III & Final BUMS Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    These examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (g) B.H.M.S. I, II, III & Final BHMS Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    These examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    (h) B.A.M.S. I, II, III & Final BAMS Scheduled for 17th May 2021

    These examinations will be held after 14th June 2021.

    Practical examinations of BAMS/BNYS scheduled to commence on

    29th March 2021 are re-scheduled to be held 02 (two) weeks after the

    reopening of the institutions.


    4. NURSING

    (a) M.Sc. (Nursing)

    Examinations for the Supplementary batch will be held after 14th

    June 2021.

    (b) B.Sc. (Nursing)

    Practical / Clinical Examinations for I & II Year Scheduled for April 2021 –

    Re-scheduled to be conducted 03 (three) weeks after the re-opening of the

    institutions.

    5. PHARMACY

    (a) M. Pharm. - Scheduled for 15th April 2021

    Written Examinations will be conducted after 10 (ten) days from

    the date of re-opening of the institutions; Dates of Practical Examinations

    will be announced later.

    (b) B. Pharm.

    (i) I, III & V Semester & Non-semester - Scheduled for 5th May 2021

     If the institutions re-open on or before 3rd May 2021 – Will be held

    on Schedule.

     If the institutions re-open after 3rd May 2021 - Will be held after

    10 (ten) days from the date of re-opening of the institutions.


    (ii) II & IV Semester – Practical Examinations will be held after 03

    (three) weeks from the date of re-opening of the institutions.

    (c) Pharm.D.

    Practical Examinations of First to Fourth year will be held after 04

    (four) weeks from the date of reopening of the institutions.

    A.H.S.

     All Under-Graduate Courses except BPO -- I & II year Practical

    Examinations will be held 03 (three) weeks after the re-opening of

    the institutions.

     BPO – I, II & III year Practical Examinations will be held 03 (three)

    weeks after the re-opening of the institutions.

     Diploma Courses -- I year Practical Examinations will be held 03

    (three) weeks after the re-opening of the institutions.
