BA Project

The IT maintenance team is responsible for ensuring software works properly and resolving any issues. It consists of testers and developers. Testers identify and define tests to monitor for discrepancies and redo tests until correct. Developers design, develop, and implement software according to client needs and make sure software runs smoothly. Object: IT Maintenance Team

 IT maintenance team-
o They make sure that the software works well
o In case there is an issue in the software, they will try to resolve it
o If it is something major then they will contact the developers and get the issue
resolved
 IT maintenance team will also consist of Testers & Developers
 Testers-
o Is responsible for identifying & defining the required tests
o Post that he’ll monitor and evaluate the outcome of these tests
o In case he finds some discrepancy then he’ll have to redo the test until it gives
correct results
 Developers-
o Is responsible for developing the software according to the needs of the client
o Developer will also design the software and implement the changes if required
o Once developed they will make sure that the software runs smoothly

Use Cases: A] Consultant updating Task Status

 Consultant logs in to the system through any device which has the software
 After logging into the system, the Consultant can view and complete the assigned tasks
 Once the task is done then he will save and submit the task sheet to the Project Manager
 In case there is a modification, the Consultant will view the assigned task, then click to
modify it, once modified the task status will be saved & updated
 The update of tasks will be as such – the task is in progress or the task completed
 After updating, he’ll submit the task status to the Project Manager
 Once the tasks are submitted by the Consultant, the Project Manager will then review the
submitted tasks of the Consultant
 Once he reviews, he will decide whether to approve or reject the submission
 The User of the software will be able to view and perform the tasks according
 In case there is an update in the task then the software will notify them of the updates made
and then the tasks can be performed accordingly

B] Consultant updating Time Sheet

 Consultant logs in to the system through any device which has the software
 After the login, he will view the timesheet
 He will fill in the timesheet, save and then submit the timesheet to the Project Manager
 In case any update has to be made in the timesheet then the Consultant will view the
timesheet displayed
 Then go to update timesheet and update the status in the timesheet
 Once updated, the timesheet will be saved and submitted to the Project Manager
 The Project Manager will review the timesheet according to the submission made by the
Consultant and decide whether to approve or reject
 The user of the software will be able to view the timesheet and if there is any update then
they will be notified.
 The user will have to correctly fill in the timesheet and there should not be any discrepancy
