I. OBJEVTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. Analyze the literature as a means of discovering the self
b. Evaluate the thoughts, feelings, and intentions in the material to view

❖ Pirming Question
The teacher will post a format on the board. The students will be instructed to form a
small group with five (5) members that will take turns in answering the questions
posted on the board.
William Shakespear
William Shakespeare’s (26 April 1564 – 23 April 1616) The Seven Ages of man is a speech of a
philosopher Jacques talking to Duke Senior. This poem is one of the most famous works
of Shakespeare due to its first phrase “All the world's a stage”. The author compares the world with a
stage and every living person is described as an actor, who plays seven different plays on that
stage.
Comprehension Check:

The teacher will divide the class into 4 and give different task in each
groups.
In a clean short bond paper, create a poster showing the essence of your most
valued people in your life.

List the qualities of this person you admire the most and compare it to your
qualities. Using the format below:

you liked or you related the most.
Then, use it as an inspiration to make a one stanza poem.

5. Do you think that the stages of life in the poem are accurate in real life?

Directions: Create a two stanza poem as if it was your reply to the author about The
Seven Ages of Man. Your poem should contain how the poem changed your perception in
life and how you feel after reading the poem.
