- Applied Social Science is a branch of science that uses scientific knowledge to create
practical solutions. Pure Social Science, on the other hand, is a scientific discipline that
focuses on scientific theories and predictions that aid in better understanding of the
world. In laboratories, pure science is more akin.
4. What is the relationship between pure social science and applied social science?
- Social Science and Applied Social Science are essentially synonymous terms. Social
science is concerned with people and how they interact with others in their society, as
