We are also pleased to welcome the newest joiners to the early adopters group: ING

SWIFT brought 15 institutions together from across the globe to collaborate as part
of the Instant Payments Plus (IP+) working group which has developed global ISO
20022 market practice and implementation guidelines for clearing and settling cross
border payments over instant payment systems.
The working group took into account existing usage guidelines “High Value
Payments Systems Plus” (HVPS+) and “Cross-Border Payments and Reporting
Plus” (CBPR+) to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
Each of the market infrastructures involved in the working group intends to adopt
these guidelines, which will bring the industry a step closer towards making
ubiquitous, instant cross-border payments a reality.

This will ensure the success of the gpi instant payments service which is based on
offering gpi tracking for cross border payments cleared over instant market
infrastructures.
These IP+ message usage guidelines are now available to download through
MyStandards, regardless of SWIFT connectivity.
The inbound tracking service is rolling out as planned. To date, most pilot
participants are using the service in controlled live and are benefiting from improved
efficiency in their treasury, collections and supply chain processes, by having
visibility on incoming payments. They have end-to-end visibility from the moment the
transaction is initiated by the counterparty up to the moment the funds are credited
on their accounts. Opening the early adopter phase in April allowed more
participants to join, with nearly 50 participants now signed up to the service.
We’re now working on making the capability available to all gpi members by October
2020, meaning that your clients will have standardised and consistent information on
their receivables to share with their customers. For more information on how you can
sign up and benefit from the inbound tracking service, do not hesitate to reach out to
your SWIFT account manager or gpi expert.
The Batch Confirmations via CSV files is now available with Alliance Access 7.4.50
and 7.5 in the SWIFT download centre. The CSV format is designed as an easy way
to implement a solution for non-gpi BICs and gpi BICs, covering the requirements of
both the Universal Confirmations rulebook and the gpi customer credit transfer
rulebook.
