On the evening of October 5, at the Hanoi Opera House, the opening ceremony of Russian Culture Days in Vietnam took place. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese audiences to have a chance to enjoy the unique and rich Russian cultural values that are also close to the Vietnamese people. This event is also a proof that the two ethnic groups are always interested in each other's culture. Some of the notable activities during the event include an exhibition themed on Nature in Northern Russia , and Opera singer's concerts. Russian Culture Days in Vietnam will take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from October 5 to 10. 2. Peach Blossom Festival Peach Blossom Festival is a traditional Japanese festival called hanami that usually takes place at the end of March every year. This is one of the oldest festivals in Japan and an indispensable beauty in Japanese culture. Hanami in Japanese means to contemplate and flower viewing. Cherry blossom is the national flower of the rising sun country symbolizing purity and impermanence of beauty. The custom of cherry blossom viewing dates back to the Nara period thousands of years ago, but it was not until the early 17th century of the Edo period that cherry blossoms were planted popularly in parks forming cherry blossom villages , where cherry blossom festivals take place flower festival nowadays.
