The Daily Shibir Routine: Team Dynamics : After attending Practical Training, participants would be part
of the organizing team for Yoga Shiksha Shibir at Kanyakumari, Nashik or
4.30 Am - Wake up and Ablutions Nagdandi (J&K) where in participants from all over the nation participate. This is
again 15 day residential sessions as part of the course..
5.15 - Pratahsmaran / Morning prayers
5.45 - Yoga practical session
After successful completion of Team Dynamics, conducting of the Yoga Shiksha
7.45 - Breakfast Shibir, and passing in the written the examinations based on syllabus, certificate
8.30 - Cleaning residential premises would be awarded. The candidates will have 45 days residential sessions in VK
10.00 - Theory session - 1 campus. Apart from this, they will have to conduct Yoga classes as mentioned
11.00 - Group discussions above ‘Practical Training’. The Daily routine is on the lines given earlier.
12.00 Noon - Breathing exercises and Pranayama
12.30 Pm - Lunch and rest Accommodation
2.15 - Practice of Mantras The Camps are fully residential. Simple dormitory accommodation is provided
3.00 - Tea break for Ladies and Gents separately.
3.20 - Theory session - 2
4.30 - Yoga Practical session Food : Simple vegetarian food is provided
5.45 - Walk in tune with nature
6.30 - Bhakti yoga - Devotional session Weather : Kanyakumari has an excellent weather throughout the year.
7.15 - Supper The summer is pleasant with just sufficient warmth and the winter is never cold.
8.15 - Satsang - Night get together Winter clothing are generally not needed at Kanyakumari.
9.30 - Retire to bed
Residential Yoga Certificate Courses are conducted in other campuses of VK
apart from Kanyakumari campus. Non- Residential courses are also held at our
centres. The syllabus given overleaf is covered in both these residential and
Non-residential formats.
