The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has developed standards to classify hose—
addressing areas like pressure rating, impulse performance, change in length, and resistance
to hot and cold temperatures. Caterpillar hose is tested to exceed SAE standards and deliver
long life in even the toughest applications.
