kabuuang bilang ng servings na makukuha sa isang
pakete.

 Ang Calories ay sukat ng enerhiyang maaaring


makuha sa isang serving ng pagkaing nasa pakete

 Ang Fats ay sukat ng sustansiyang maaaring pagkunan


ng enerhiya.  Ang saturated fats ay makukuha sa mga
karne, itlog, at gatas. Ito ay nagpapataas ng kolesterol
sa dugo na maaaring magdulot ng masamang epekto sa
katawan kung maparami.  Ang unsaturated fats ay
isang uri ng fats na makukuha sa mga gulay at
nagdudulot ng mabuti sa ating katawan.  Ang trans-fat
ay ang pinakamapanganib sa katawan. Pinapababa ng
trans-fat ang High Density Lipoproteins (HDL) at
pinapataas ang Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL).
Makukuha natin ang trans-fats sa labis na pagkain ng
junk foods, biscuit, instant noodles at pag-inom ng
kape. Nagdudulot ito ng mga problema sa puso.  Ang
Cholesterol ay isang matabang sustansiya na kailangan
ng ating katawan upang gumana ito. Ito ay ginagawa sa
atay at matatagpuan sa mga pagkaing galing sa mga
hayop, gaya ng karne, itlog, mga produktong gatas,
mantikilya, at mantika. Kailangan natin ito sa maayos
napagdumi. May dalawang uri ng Cholesterol sa ating
katawan.  High Density Lipoproteins (HDL) ay
“mabubuting Cholesterol sa ating dugo. Dinadala niya
pabalik sa atay ang mga sobrang cholesterol upang
mailabas ito ng ating katawan.  Ang Low Density
Lipoproteins (LDL) naman o “masasamang” cholesterol
ay nagdudulot ng paninikip ng mga ugat, na
nagpapahirap sa pagdaloy ng dugo.  Ang sodium ay
isang uri ng mineral na makukuha sa karne ng hayop,
itlog, gatas, asin, at vetsin. Ito ay nakatutulong sa
pagbalanse ng timbang ng likido sa loob ng katawan.
Ngunit ang maraming sodium sa katawan ay maaaring
magdulot ng mataas altapresyon.  Ang carbohydrates
ay pangunahing pinagkukunan ng enerhiya ng katawan.
 Ang dietary fiber ay hindi natutunaw at inilalabas
lamang sa katawan ngunit nakalilinis ng digestive
system.  Ang sugar ay nagbibigay ng mabilis at
panandaliang enerhiya sa katawan.  Ang Protein ay
tumutulong sa pagbuo at pagsasaayos ng mga
kalamnan (muscles) at mga selyula (cells).  Ang vitamin
at minerals ay tumutulong sa pagpapanatiling maayos
na mga proseso sa loob ng ating katawan.
