E. Maintenance of Standards
• This section existed with a single statement in the 2010
code – this time it’s much more extensive and lays out
procedures that serve as a guide for ethical behavior.
• This is similar to what was laid out in G.1. of the 2010 code.
– a. Highlights the understanding of mandatory reporting in the
respective district and states
– b. Lays out what do when the behavior in question is unlawful,
abusive, egregious or dangerous, in which case proper school or
community authorities are contacted.
