GR. F22 MODIFIED (60 KSI SMYS, 90 KSI SMTS) SHALL BE USED FOR THE FLANGE, VALVE BODY, BONNET AND FITTING FORGINGS
DEPENDING ON THE MANUFACTURERS ABILITY TO ADEQUATELY HEAT TREAT THE FORGINGS AND MAINTAIN THROUGH THICKNESS
PHYSICAL PROPETIES. A PRE-MANUFACTURE QTC SHALL BE TESTED TO QUALIFY ANY HEAVY WALL 4130 Q&T FORGINGS.
8. WHERE DISSIMILAR MATERIALS ARE USED FOR PIPE, FITTINGS, FLANGES AND VALVE BODIES THE FABRICATOR SHALL QUALIFY WELDING
PROCEDURES CAPABLE OF MAINTAINING ALL REQUIRED PHYSICAL PROPERTIES REQUIRED AND PROVIDE THE ABILITY TO MAKE TWO(2)
REPAIRS TO A BUTT-WELD CONNECTION WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE MATERIALS WELDED. MAXIMUM HARDNESS SHALL BE
MAINTAINED AND NOT EXCEEDED.
9. TAPERED PIPE THREADED (NPT) NIPPLES, FITTINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED; USE PARKER MPI STRAIGHT THREAD CONNECTIONS.
