"Antipolo Rizal": Tour Guide
(Script)
Tour Guide: Good afternoon my dear tourist. I’m Monica Bianca S. Cueto your
tour guide from DJM Travel & Tours for today, and it’s our pleasure to be of
service to you.
Tour Guide: By the way, I would like you to meet our coach captain Darryl, say
hello to Darryl. And when regards to our rules and regulations, first smoking is
strictly prohibited inside the bus but eating foods are allowed, second we may
always follow the itinerary given to you and always stay with the group, always
put your trash in proper disposal and last don’t leave your things unattended,
And if you have any questions that you want to clarify don’t hesitate to call my
attention. Is that clear my dear tourist? While we are waiting to our first
destination let me tell you some details about Antipolo, Rizal.
Tour Guide: Antipolo is a 1st class component city and capital of
the province of Rizal in the Philippines. This town is in the northern half
of Rizal Province, close to its meridional center. It is located on the slopes of the
Sierra Madre Mountain Range. The Distance between Manila to Antipolo is 15km
Tour Guide: Now we are here in our first destination. Welcome to Pinto Art
Museum here in Antipolo, Rizal. Pintô Art Museum is an exhibition space and
contemporary museum located in the Philippines’ historic pilgrimage city of
Antipolo outside of Manila. The museum was founded in 2010 to publicly exhibit
the art collection of Filipino neurologist and patron of the arts, Dr. Joven
Cuanang. The museum (pinto means door in Filipino) was founded on the
principle that art plays a diplomatic role in bridging distinctive nationalities,
worldviews, and communities.
Tour Guide: The museum presents various types of arts — sculptures, paintings,
installations, mixed media — which revolve around religion, historical events, and
different modernist movements. It also showcases the works of Filipino
contemporary artists.
But it is a museum that is breathtaking inside and out. The art pieces are housed
in a number of white mission-style structures, designed by artist Antonio Leaño.
This 1.5-hectare art complex is enclosed in a two-hectare botanical garden, which
fosters a serene atmosphere. Every nook and cranny is picturesque; every
placement well thought out. It’s not surprising that this is one of the most
Instagrammed museums not just in the Philippines but in the world. The place is
also open to couples who want to do a prenuptial shoot.
The museum complex is vast. You will be given a map at the ticket counter area,
so that will serve as your navigation guide when you explore on your own.
If you want to avail the senior citizen/pwd or students discount you need to
present your valid ID or school ID (or registration form).
Chapel which is one of the first distinct structures that will greet you upon
entry. You will spot a minimalist altar with two single kneelers. Check out
the unusual statues inside and outside the chapel.
If you get hungry you can go to Café Rizal, which can be found at two
locations inside the complex. You will spot the bigger main café as you
walk past the chapel. You can eat al fresco or inside the restaurant. A
smaller cafe is located in between Galleries 3 and 4, serving as a breather
or resting spot, where visitors can refresh by ordering a drink or grabbing a
quick snack. We’ll talk more about the specialties later in another section.
Sunset View Roofdeck, accessible via the Upper Garden. There are lounge
seats and garden table sets. You can have a good view of the garden,
which is adorned with a pool and lounge seats.
You can also stop by at their Museum Shop, where you can buy museum
merchandise and souvenirs. This is also the last stop before we exit to the
parking area.
You can view their other attractions from the map that was given to you
earlier in the ticket counter area.
That is all for the Pinto Art Museum, now for our Second destination which
is just 2.1 km away.
Please make sure that you don’t forget or accidentally leave your things
here in the museum so that we can proceed for our next destination, Which
is the Antipolo Cathedral
Tour Guide: We are now here at the Antipolo Cathedral; we may go inside and
offer a simple prayer. By the way Antipolo Cathedral formally known as
the National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and the Immaculate
Conception Parish is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Antipolo in
the Philippines. It enshrines the Marian image of Our Lady of Peace and Good
Voyage, and is the seat of the Bishop of Antipolo. It is also the Immaculate
Conception Parish and is referred to by locals as the "Simbahan ng Antipolo"
(Church of Antipolo).
The shrine attracts millions of pilgrims annually, especially during the Pilgrimage
Season which commences with the Alay Lakad from Quiapo Church on April 30
until the month of May.
You can see here the inside of the Antipolo Cathedral Church.
Admission Fee in here is free, and for the Mass Schedule
Again, please make sure that you don’t forget or accidentally leave your things
here in the Cathedral so that we can proceed for our third and last destination
which is Bosay Resort.
Bosay Resort is just 2.5km away.
Tour Guide: While we are waiting to our last destination let me tell you some
details about Bosay Resort, Bosay Resort originated from a waray
term "Bosay” meaning waterfalls. A swimming pool, just like any waterfall chills
the body which enables an individual to loosen up uncertainties for a while.
Anyone can fully enjoy swimming at Bosay Resort since it is built with one of a
kind landscape setting with nature and the living trees carry out fresh air as you
breathe. The fascinating sound of the bird as they flew will stimulate your senses
for tranquility of a seventh heaven while the Videoke compromises the need for
entertainment during celebrations.
Tour Guide: Pack it up guys, we are almost there in our final destination, make
sure to bring all of your things, check your bags, and your group. We need to
make sure that we have fun for the rest of the day.
Tour Guide: We are now here in the Resort in Antipolo Rizal which is Bosay
Resort . Before we proceed to our lunch, I will first show you the different
swimming pools here in Bosay Resort, after that you can go freely with your
group wherever you want with the map, guide and brochure that was given to you
in the entrance.
Tour Guide: We will have our snacks in the restaurant, which is reserved for all of
us, you can bring your own food if you don’t want the food that is offered by the
resort. After eating you can now go wherever you want for the whole day, enjoy
the rest of the day with other people. If you get tired you can go to the assigned
room for your group. So that is all for today, you can now go freely wherever you
want.
Tour Guide: Did you guys enjoyed staying here in Bosay Resort? You can go
back here anytime you want, you can bring your friends your families or loved
ones. But for now sorry for saying this but we need to pack our things and get
ready to go home. But before that we are going to the souvenir shop, so that you
