BACKGROUND AND EXPERİENCE (PLEASE DESCRİBE İN MORE DETAİLS)
Please briefly present your organisation
ARSU Academy for Lifelong Learning and Development Germany e.V. was established in 2018 in
Berlin, and since its establishment has been validated by the German National Agency. As computers
and digital education. course and seminar center, it has been developing and carrying out mobility
projects for staff in school education and adult education, as well as involving in Erasmus+ Strategic
Partnership Programs in the field of education, training and youth. In its administrative staff, there
are education lovers academicians who acquired their PhD degree in the different scientific and
technical fields in Germany, and worked in different countries of Europe.

“ARSU Academy for Lifelong Learning and Development Germany e.V.” is a non-profit, politically and
religiously neutral association that fundamentally adopts the principles of ideological and ethnic
tolerance. Its fields of activities include education, youth, women, cultural, social, ecological and
economic issues. The association has a determined position against intolerance, racism, homophobia,
exclusion, discrimination and all forms of political extremism.
Among the main objectives of the association are the establishment of a fair social order in which all
members of the society have equal opportunities, the integration and integration of disabled people
and refugees into society, and the acceptance and equal treatment of people of all genders. The
association also aims to contribute to the development and improving of the individual’s personal,
social, physical, psychological and mental-health levels and individual's educational achievements in
the society. In this context, it encourages lifelong learning with its activities and supports individuals
in achieving high-quality education, training, on-the-job training and qualification. In order to achieve
its general goals, the association, organizes and implements activities, meetings and cultural and
sport events and conducts projects in the fields of interest. For that purpose, it establishes both
domestic and international strategic partnerships.

The association follows the principle of learning together and from each other of individuals with its
work activities and events carried out within the scope of the motto of "Lifelong Learning", and
encourages and supports the exchange and sharing of data and information at national and
international level, regardless of geographical and cultural boundaries. It develops ideas and
concepts in line with these goals. In this context, it implements projects by itself or works in close
cooperation with its national and international partners. In this way, it leads the establishment of
relations between schools, universities, government and non-governmental organizations and
companies in the home country and abroad, contributing to increasing cooperation in the fields of
education, research, science and culture.

The association serves for the exchange/transfer of knowledge/data in the work of different
occupational groups, acquisition of new special competencies at the national and international level,
and for the transmission of expertise and experience between the actors, as well as for the
optimization and expansion of the existing competencies. In addition, it contributes to the increase of
communication and interaction between different cultures (interculturality). In this way, it serves to
build bridges between international cultures, to eliminate cultural misunderstandings, prejudices and
conflicts, to the idea of international cultural peace, tolerance and mutual understanding.
Other objectives of the "ARSU Lifelong Learning and Development Academy Germany e.V."
association are to achieve gender equality, to promote equal opportunities in education and working
life for all, to promote diversity in society and to combat racism, xenophobia and all kinds of
discrimination. In this context, the association is also committed to helping people who are
politically, racially or religiously persecuted, refugees, displaced persons, asylum seekers and
migrants, and supports their successful social, professional, cultural and linguistic integration into the
host society. In this field of work, the association initiates and implements projects that contribute
significantly to the rapid integration of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and develops
strategies, concepts and solutions. Accordingly, the association provides information, advice, lessons
and courses for needs-based support of relevant target groups and is committed to better access of
these target groups to education, advice and employment. The association also makes an important
contribution to the international understanding by advocating peaceful coexistence of people from
different cultures in Germany. More and more people are overwhelmed by the responsibilities of
everyday life and seek help and advice to protect their health and prevent disease in the long term.
The association aims to improve the physical, mental and / or emotional health of the general public
by offering events, courses, seminars and conferences.

Located in Berlin, the association aims to carry out research work and scientific research programs at
national and international level in the following areas;

 Studies on human rights and equality (International sensitivity, tolerance to cultures and
understanding of international thinking, adaptation support for people who are persecuted

The projects, studies, courses and activities created and carried out in the above fields that serve to
realize the objectives of the association are as follows:

 Alphabet learning, German and orientation courses


 Organization of courses and seminars for activities for children, families and the elderly to
support family relations
 Developing health and health awareness (joga, breathing and nutrition training)
 Coaching courses (NLP Trainer training, Master Holistic Transform Coaching Training,
Holotropic Breath Training, Anger control, body language use courses etc.)
 Promoting intercultural competence / sensitivity and international exchange (e.g., organizing
educational trips)
 Realization of socio-cultural activities,
 Platforms and exhibitions for meeting of cultures
 Culture-specific courses, such as: cooking, art, music and folk dance courses promoting
intercultural opening
 Promoting health and health awareness (e.g. health prevention through physical activity /
educational activities)

Free advice and support activities and work in social, health and education areas.

These include:

 Advice and support for mentally and physically disabled people and their relatives
 Social counseling: Support in filling out forms, in matters related to authorities, in submission
of applications
 Parental counseling: Advising parents on education and upbringing

What are the skills and expertise of key staf/personsin your organization that will be involved in this
project?

The ARSU Academy is committed to playing a key role in promoting and supporting the goals of the
educational, scientific, cultural, health, social and economic development of humankind at the local
and global levels. On the local scale, it knows its purpose as an association to support the
participation of young people and adults in business life and their adaptation to social life through
training, education and development. On the global scale, it aims to build friendship and education
bridge between countries and cultures in order to promote and support cultural understanding,
international peace, and strengthen to exchange/dissemination of data and information in close
cooperation between schools, universities, government and non-governmental organizations and
companies within the scope of Strategic Partnerships Projects worldwide. It has turned out that the
ARSU Academy, which draws its strength from self-confidence, has constantly been improving its
quality through the achievement of its goals so far.

The staffs of ARSU Academy focus on human, education and success, turning differences between
people into chance, regardless of their gender, race, colour of skin, belief and religion, political or
other options, national and social origin. They consist of experienced and trained professionals who
bear the social and conscientious responsibility of their work, who enjoy their tasks and work with
tolerance and great flexibility. The key people to be described below in our project are graduates of
higher education, hold doctor's degrees, have been working in the field since 2005, thus, experienced
in Erasmus + mobility projects, and have strong communication and human relations skill. They are
multilingual experts who are referred to by many official institutions due to their work with many
European countries.

The project team has successfully managed and completed many projects from Europe and Turkey.
Association President Dr. Süleyman Dündar is an experienced administrator who teaches at
universities, participates in scientific studies, and has worked as a coordinator for dozens of projects
within the framework of Erasmus + projects since 2013. He is an expert on computers and digital
education.

The association deputy executive director, Dr. Susam Dundar Isik (www.susam-dundar-isik.com), has
completed university education in Turkey, Great Britain and Germany. After completing her
doctorate in Germany, she worked as an assistant professor at the university. She has also served on
the European Parliament's Working Table for Turkey, working for many years in Germany, Belgium,
France and Turkey. In the field of vocational training, she participated between 2005 and 2008 as a
coordinator in the dual vocational training system for 152 young people within the framework of the
Bildungsstarter project at the BildungsWerk in Kruzberg (BWK) that supported by the Federal
Ministry of Education and the European Social Fund. Of the 52 Jobstarter-projects carried out in
Germany, the project managed by him was selected as the most successful project. In 2007, she was
chosen twice as Woman of the Year in Berlin. She was also a board member and press spokesperson
of the soccer club Türkiyemspor in Berlin, which at that time played in the 4th Football League in
Germany. She was awarded for the social and cultural activities organized and carried out by her has
been awarded several prizes. Dr. Susam Dündar Isik is also active as a breath transforming life,
success and motivation coach and NLP-Coach (Neuro-Linguistic Program Trainer - Mind Language
Program).
