● Classes Required- English 4 years required, -Math 3 years required, 4 years


recommended, -Laboratory Science 2 years required, 3 years recommended, -

Social science 2 years required, -Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) 1 year
required, College Preparatory Electives 1 year required
● The ACT Assessment plus the ACT Writing Test. Both tests must be taken at

the same time; they do not combine test scores from multiple sittings. - or - The
SAT Reasoning Test with critical reading, mathematics, and writing scores from
the same sitting.
● At least a 3.0 GPA higher the better

● UC-certified honors, AP/IB, and transferable college courses are equally

meritorious in the sense that they are all challenging courses, and they all add
extra weight to an applicant's GPA.

Social Activities

● Social Activities- There are 600 different clubs and


organizations. Examples: Mardi gras, performing arts,
Publications and Broadcast Media, Student Government,
and community service.
● City Surroundings- Beverly Hills to shop, HollyWood,
and the beach
● Sport Teams- UCLA is the most successful sports and
has won 100 NCAA trophies, 36 club teams and 20
intramural teams
● There are 46 Greek letter social organizations and
their four governing councils 17 sororities and 29
fraternities
