Air Quality Monitoring and Control: Assignment 1
Air Quality Monitoring and Control: Assignment 1
Air Quality Monitoring and Control: Assignment 1
Introduction:
According to the local requirements, a particulate emission from a circular stack has
to be annually monitored. As our company has been commissioned to perform the
test according to the procedures recommended by Queensland Environmental
Protection Agency, I performed all tests on behalf of my company. To perform the
tests I used the following methods to obtain the results as it is recommended by
Queensland Environmental Protection Agency.
• Dew Point
• CO2 Concentration
• Static Pressure
• Sampling time
• Average temperature
In the second recommendation for normalised cubic meter, I used 200 C and 101.3
kPa as my normal condition.
According to the parameters, diagrams, graphs, tables and the formulae that I have
used for these tests, I think the results I have obtained are realistic. According to the
result I have got a very low particle concentration in the exhaust gas under normal
condition.
