    I am fascinated in the number of temples that can be found in Thailand.

    They have almost 40000


    temples all over the country in which 34000 are currently in use. It is no surprise that when we visit this
    country, temples can be found anywhere we go. It is obviously seen in the number of temples that it
    really plays an important role in the life of Thai’s. Based on my research, people go to a temple to pray
    for good health or fortune. Another, temples also serve as a residing place for the monks. It can be also
    served as an educational place where parents bring their children to learn about life and Buddha. It can
    also a gathering place for ceremonies or rituals. It is also a place of healing where people who are sick
    can bring here to seek for healing. These functions are evidence why there are many temples in
    Thailand. It is a place with multi uses, thus establishing many temples can be accessible for all their
    citizens even they are living in remote areas. Aside from its functionality, I also amaze about the
    architecture of Thailand. It has unique, creative and colorful designs which reflects their rich cultural
    heritage
