REFLECTIVE PRACTICE

A. Which of my teaching strategies worked well in giving assessment? Why did these

work?

The classroom is a dynamic environment that brings together students from a variety

of experiences, talents, and personalities. Being a good teacher necessitates the use of

creative and innovative teaching methods in order to meet the unique needs of every students.

When it comes to teaching, there is no such thing as a one size fits all approach, so I prepared

a list of successful teaching methods to get you started and you will read it along the other

information in this discussion. It can be difficult to know which teaching methods would

work best for your students, whether you've been teaching for two years or twenty you have

to come up with a teaching method that will be useful just like; Leaving an open-ended topic,

reflecting, encouraging analysis games, one-question quizzes, and exit tickets are a few

teaching techniques that I believe were useful and productive in evaluating learners. Students

will be able to participate and involve themselves in rethinking and reassessing the lessons

being covered in class using these tactics. Students will ponder and discuss the answer to an

open-ended question left at the end of class, and it will also remain on their minds in some

way. Another thing you should do is ask them to consider how the principles they've learned

can affect their current situation. Conducting games that help them review at the same time is

also an excellent technique so they review and appreciate the lesson at the same time.

Students can find reviewing tedious, but adding imagination into the process would make the

class more active, enjoyable, and educational.

Furthermore, administering a one-question quiz during an examination is an efficient

way to gauge students' comprehension of topics. Finally, asking students to write a brief

analysis and conclusion as their exit tickets at the end of the topic would force them to

condense everything they learned that day into a concise summary of what they learned.

Students will reconsider the topics they will carry away on the discussion day as a result of

this. To summarize, teachers like us must be imaginative and inventive when developing or

implementing successful teaching strategies.

B. What innovation or localized materials did I use/discover which I wish to share with

other teachers?

In the classroom, students can use mobile devices such as laptops and tablets to

monitor grades, take photos/videos, or simply as a behavior management technique. Students

can benefit from scrolling across the internet, which includes many tools, including

educational and instructive ones. Searching for localized video materials will help extend and

intensify the learning process because students can learn something from the video that they

will apply to the discussion in some way. Incorporating technology into your teaching is a

fantastic way to actively engage your students, particularly now that people in the twenty-first

century are around technology and digital media and also given the fact that we are in the

midst of online learning. Students may visualize new learning ideas by viewing images and

videos on virtual whiteboards or mobile devices. However, using instructional videos

downloaded from the internet comes with a certain amount of liability, which can be avoided

by correctly referencing the rightful owner. Another option is to include visual materials that

will pique students' interest and encourage them to pay attention in class. It simulates the

students' vision and helps them remember it much better than not using visual aids; using

locally accessible visual aids accelerates the students' comprehension of the class's subject.

The search for new materials and opportunities to improve learning processes is never-

ending, and sharing it with fellow educators benefits students even more.
