Introduction
ONLINE FOOD ORDER SYSTEM is a website designed primarily for use in the
food delivery industry. Through these services restaurants can sell and distribute
their resources at minimal resource usage effectively with high profits by gaining
the customer trust. This Online food order system database will be helpful for the
business owners to extend their business just by placing the orders online and not
visiting the restaurant.

There is no confinement for placing and receiving the orders, since the order can
be placed online. There will be no waiting time with the vast amount of verities at
the comfortable prices. To develop this application database is the main part which
will communicate through the application to retrieve the details. We will be
creating the online food ordering database with MySQL as a platform.

Database includes Customers can place their orders from different food categories
and restaurant staff will process the orders and deliver the requested order with an
expected delivery time, and asking the customers for the reviews and depends on
the order quantity providing the rewards to the customers where they can claim
money.

Admin
1. Admin can add, delete mess details,

Mess
1. Dashboard: In this section, admin can see all detail in brief like a total
order, not confirmed order, confirmed order, Total food being prepared, Total
food pickup, Total food delivery, Total canceled orders, and Total user.
2. Reg Users: In this section, admin can manage the registered user
(view/update).
3. Food Category: In this section, admin can manage the food category (Add,
delete and Update).
4. Food Menu: In this section, admin can manage the food menu (Add, delete
and Update).
5. Orders: In this section admin can view the food order details and they have
also the right to change order status according to current status.
6. Search order: In this section, admin can search particular order with the
help of the order number.
7. Reports: In this section admin can view order details, order counts, and
sales reports according to dates.
User
1. Food Menu: In this section, user can view which food available in restaurants
2. My Accounts: In this section, user can his/her password, view and update
his/her profile and log out from accounts. In this section, the user can also view
order history.
3. Cart: In this section, user can add the food which he/she want to order and also
delete the already added food items.
4. User has also a facility to download his/her invoice and cancel orders if he/she
wants to cancel.

User will get an email whenever he/she make the order and also get mail
notification on every order update by admin.

Existing System
The existing system to facilitate mess functionalities for the customers is in normal
pen and paper, any query is addressed by physically visiting the mess and records
are taken on a register, the account information cannot be easily accessed.
Proposed System
The new mess management project will allow the user to interact with the mess
directly, user can order food online and food can be delivered at his door steps.
Mess can maintain the records in the software.

Conclusion

The system is developed in considering all issues related to all user which are
included in this system. Wide range of people can use this if they know how to
operate android smart phone. Various issues related to Mess Service will be solved
by providing them a full-fledged system. Thus, implementation of Online Food
Ordering system is done to help and solve one of the important problems of people.
Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded: It helps customer in
making order easily, it gives information needed in making order to customer. The
Food website application made for mess and mess can help mess and mess in
receiving orders and modifying its data and it is also made for admin so that it
helps admin in controlling all the Food system. With online food ordering system,
a mess and mess menu online can be set up and the customers can easily place
order. Also with a food menu online, tracking the orders is done easily, it maintain
customer’s database and improve the food delivery service. The restaurants and
mess can even customize online mess menu and upload images easily. Having a
mess menu on internet, potential customers can easily access it and place order at
their convenience. Thus, an automated food ordering system is presented with
features of feedback and wireless communication.
