2 installation

2.1 General principles

GM8804C2 packaging controller uses 220V 50Hz AC power supply with protective ground . like
If there is no protective ground, additional grounding is required to ensure safe and reliable use.
Since the sensor input signal is an analog small signal, it is more sensitive to electronic noise, so
The signal transmission should be shielded cable, and it should be laid separately from other cables, not to mention bundled
Tied together. The signal cable should be far away from the AC power source.
Note: Do not connect the ground wire of the meter directly to other equipment.
When installing the GM8804C2 packaging controller, first follow the opening in the last chapter of this manual
The dimension drawing is to make a hole in the appropriate position of the control box, and then remove the inserts on both sides of the controller to remove
The controller is installed from the front of the control box, and the inserts on both sides are installed from the rear and the fixing screws are tightened. See fi
Shown in 2-1.

Figure 2-1 Installation

2.2 Sensor connection

GM8804C2 packaging controller needs an external resistance strain bridge sensor, connect as shown below

Connect the sensor to the meter. When the four-wire sensor is selected, the SN+ and EX+ of the instrument must be short

Connect, SN- and EX- are shorted.

The sensor cable should be as far away as possible from other cables, especially not bundled with other cables.

2.3 Connection of switch interface

Figure 2-3 Switch interface

The switch quantity of GM8804C2 packaging controller adopts photoelectric isolation method, and the interface needs to be provided externally
One DC 24V power supply is used as the switching power supply, and the positive pole of the power supply is connected to COM1 of the instrument
The negative terminal is connected to the COM2 terminal of the instrument . The switch input of the instrument is active at low level; the output adopts
Transistor open collector output mode, each drive current can reach 500mA . (Switch output
The relay output form can also be selected. If you need to match it, you must make a special statement when ordering the product)
Figure 2-4 Principle of the instrument input interface

Figure 2-5 Principle of the instrument output interface

The switch value of GM8804C2 packaging controller is user-definable (see 3.5 for details ), with
Convenient for user wiring and some special applications. When the product leaves the factory, each input and output are set by default.
The meaning is as follows:

The GM8804C2 packaging controller has an automatic feeding function during automatic batching. There are three main supplements
The details are as follows:

1. CIC is prohibited to the time t2 is determined, if the current weight is negative, or the current weight value <= (target -

3. If the over-under-error switch ( 3.3 ) and the under-error refill switch ( 3.3.4 ) are both ON , when the over-under-error detection is performed
When the time expires, if the current weight value <= (target value - underweight value), then the small throw and jog feed will be carried out.

7. Automatic packaging process

GM8804C2 packaging controller can automatically control fast and slow feeding and unloading under the automatic batching state
Packaging process.

Its packaging work has two modes: a packaging mode with a measuring bucket and a packaging mode without a measuring bucket.
The choice of packaging mode is determined by working parameter 1.4.5 . If it is " BIN YES ", it is packed with a measuring hopper
Mode; if it is " BIN NO ", it is a packaging mode without weighing bucket

7.1 Packing mode with measuring bucket

Code: ASCII code.

The data frame format is:

It means: 1# scale, No. 1 formula, the current cumulative number of times is 100 , and the current unloading weight is 50.00 .

8.2 Serial port 2

The second serial port of the instrument is RS-232 or RS-485 optional.
The positions of the two switches are determined.

The instrument can be connected to the host computer or the second display (such as the one produced by our company) through the serial port.
GM8891 series display) are connected. The serial port has two working modes: command mode and connecting
In continuous mode, the instrument sends the current working status of the instrument to the outside through the serial port;
In the command mode, the instrument receives the command frame sent by the upper computer, and then sends back to the upper computer
The corresponding command corresponds to the frame. The specific agreement is as follows:
