    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • To study the drawings and prepare the list of the material to be procured according to the drawings
    considering the Standards as well as Material Grade mentioned in the drawings.
    • To plan the fabrication process considering the requirement of machining any item/s, frequency of stage
    inspection, directions given in the drawings, etc.
    • To plan Machining of the fabricated items at different venders and take follow up of the same. Also carry
    out on machine inspection of the machined items and get satisfactory results.
    • To carry out internal inspection before the actual inspection by the client and prepare reports of both
    the inspections.
    • To collect all the Raw Material Test Certificates and Lab Test. Reports of the material used and keep
    updating it in the Material Summary Chart.
    • To carry out hydrotesting.
    • To prepare Daily Progress Report and keep updating the same.

    Project Name: Construction of bridge across Panvel creek carrying 1500 mm dia. water pipeline from MBR
    Wahal to Kalamboli Junction under Hetawane Water Supply Scheme.
    Designation: Site Engineer
    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • To prepare cutting list and the weight sheet for each of the 8 spans of the bridge according to the drawings.
    • To prepare checklists for various aspects of the Bridge (viz. Fit-up & dimensional analysis, Joint Preparation
    & welding inspection, Bolt tightening inspection, etc.) as per the requirement of the Quality Assurance
    Plan approved by the CIDCO.
    • To ensure all the work is done according to safety rules.
    • To check the fit-up and the assembly of the members of each span of the bridge as per the checklist and
    drawing.
    • To carry out NDT for all the weld profiles of each span from a Level 2 inspector and get satisfactory reports
    of the same.
    • To carry out the Third-Party Inspection of each span of the bridge and get satisfactory reports with
    permission to lift the span.
    • To check and approve the bills submitted by the subcontractors according to the work order.

    • To plan and arrange processes in order through which the job is supposed to undergo to get the final product.
