Sandy Parlin I like Pacific Catch in the Sunset or the Marina...the food is
good, not too expensive, and both locations offer a great place to go for a
walk afterwards.....the sunset location is across the street from gg park and
the marina location is close to the bay...it's a nice walk down by boats

Colie Marie There's this place in the Tenderloin. I forgot the name, but it's
a French Bistro style place, suuuper small and easy to miss, on Polk Street.
It's really quaint and romantic. Great way to show off how well you know
your city, not terribly expensive, great food.

Stephanie Chenard Lots of fun places, but if you want something a little
more quiet so that you can have decent conversation and good food with a
nice wine selection, I would suggest Caffe Sociale in the Laurel District.
You can find street parking and it's tucked away in a little hidden
courtyard which is very romantic when the weather is cooperating.

Robert James Ventura For many years I would take first dates to the
city...walk the wharf, grab a crab or some shrimp cocktail and squat the
outdoor tables next to Aliotos, maybe walk the Golden Gate and later look
over the city from the tower...once with someone I was close to we took
the bay dinner cruise and later a helicopter ride over the city...but that's
pretty much the other side of the spectrum...

Michael Scheiman The Fog City Diner is unique. I don't know if they still
charge extra for catchup but they used to. Take the ferry to Sasito for
dinner was a great first date I used to do. Or take them to the Montclaire
Bistro in Oakland, a first class french restaurant a good friend of mine
owns. Check out the website.
