    QDC Permit Application Form - Requirements and Permit Rules

    DOCUMENTATION and REQUIREMENT FOR NEW APPLICATIONS


    1 Letter from Employer.
    A letter dated within last 3 months from your company written in English on an original letterhead, signed and stamped by an authorized signatory
    is required. The NOC letter is to be addressed to Qatar Distribution Company or to whom it may concern* and should state the applicant's;
     POSITION
     BASIC SALARY: This means total salary less all allowances and the word BASIC must be used. Minimum basic salary requirement is QAR 3000
    (QDC reserves the right to request further evidence of salary and employer)
     ACCOMODATION ENTITLEMENT: State if you receive housing allowance or the company provides accomodation free of charge
     MARITAL STATUS: State if you are married or single
    * A "to whom it may concern" letter is accepted provided that the employer / sponsor has no objection in using letter for QDC purposes.
    2 Qatar ID / Passport: Original QID or passport RP is required.If applicant does not have a Qatar ID or RP, the following applies in special circumstances.
    For applicants working in Qatar on a multi-entry visa or other type of business visa, may apply if they meet the following criteria:
     Resident of Qatar for a minimum of 3 months
     Living in a private accomodation whilst resident of Qatar. Applicants living in hotel are not eligible.
     In support of the application, the above details are confirmed in writing by an employer or sponsor based in Qatar.
    3 Age: Applicant must be aged 21 years or over and must meet minimum salary requirement.
    4 QDC Application Form : Duly filled up and signed by both Main card (and Joint card applicant, if applicable)
    5 License fee:On approval of an application the applicant will be required to pay an annual license fee, paid on pro-rata basis,
    based on Qatar Residence Permit validity. The license fee is non-refundable in case of membership cancellation / termination .
    * License fee will be charged electronically through debit or credit cards. QID Validity Permit validity issuance guide
    Cash payments are not accepted. PERMIT VALIDITY FEE APPLICABLE* Not allowed, please renew QID prior to application or
    1- 2 months only
    1 year QAR 150 renewal.
    Customer to pay for pro-rated license fee for the full
    2 years QAR 250 3 to 11 months
    validity of QID.
    3 years QAR 350
    Customer can choose number of months from 1 year to
    4 years QAR 400 12 to 48 months full validity of their QID. Less than 12 months permit
    *PRO-RATA BASIS
    validity is not allowed for this scenario

    For JOINT PERMIT CARD (Spouses only)


    1 On request, an additional card will be issued only to the spouse of the current permit holder.
    2 Both the existing permit holder and spouse should apply in person together.
    3 Spouse should have a valid Residence Permit
    4 If Spouse is not on the husbands sponsorship, a proof of marriage is required (Please note that only 1 permit per family is allowed)

    For RENEWALS:
    1 If any of the applicant's circumstances (Company, role, salary, accomodation status) have changed then all of the documentation mentioned in paragraphs 1 & 2
    above is required. Please re-submit updated application form, and bring new NOC letter from new employer
    2 If the employer/sponsorship is the same as per previous permit application details, then renewals can be done on a basis of a renewed Qatar ID only ( of both Main
    and joint card holder)
    3 If you are under family sponsorship or permanent residency status , you will need to submit a new NOC letter from your employer and your new QID, everytime you renew.
    4 Qatar Residence Permit validity should be more than 2 months.

    *Please read and understand Permit Rules carefully before signing the acknowledgement on your application form.

    PERMIT RULES:

    1 Permits are for personal use only.


    Purchases must be taken directly to the permit holder's residence and should be concealed from public
    2
    view while in transit.
    3 The Permit holder and goods must be in the same vehicle.
    4 Alcohol consumption must be at the permit holder's residence only.
    5 It is strictly forbidden to give alcohol to others whether by sale or gift.
    6 You cannot purchase without your permit card.
    Only main and joint permit card holders are allowed inside the shop. No guests, spouses without joint
    7
    cards, or children of any age will be allowed to enter the shop.
    8 Pork products are sold to Non-Muslims only.
    9 Any transfers observed on our premises will result in the suspension or cancellation of the permit.
    10 Management reserves the right to refuse, cancel any membership or refuse entry to the premises.
    Disclaimer: QDC will not be responsible for any violation of these rules or misuse of alcohol in any way. QDC reserves the right to
    cancel permits at any time and to confiscate any associated fees.
