My competitors who produce through machines and factories may offer a much cheaper price
from y handmade crochet products.
1. I think that I will launch my business once I already prepared my SWOT analysis and my
needed materials. As an aspiring business owner, I believe that it is very important to
assess everything first before diving into the business venture.
2. To start my business, I primarily need to prepare varieties of yarn and crochet hooks of
different sizes. With that, I will be able to create a product. Aside from the main
materials, I will be needing darning needles, scissors, stitch markers, buttons, zippers, and
row counters. For my packaging, I may need packaging tape, paper bags or small boxes.
3. I can obtain the materials through a craft store. I can either buy them online or through
walk-in stores nearby. In addition, some of the materials are very easy to find and I can
use the available materials at home.
4. As for the process of obtaining supplies and marketing for my products, I can use any
shipping courier available at my place if I will be ordering online. On the other hand, if I
will shop in walk-in stores, it depends on how many materials I will be obtaining.
5. I will locate my business at home as a startup. Then, I will setup an online platform
where I can post and share my products so that it would reach more potential clients.
Then, if my business earned bigger finances, I will try to set up my own art shop.
6. Yes, my materials need packaging, especially for those clients who will order from afar. I
will need eco-friendly materials like paper bag or boxes since my product is dry and
made of yarn.
7. To let the consumers know about my business and product, I will do a photoshoot in
every product that I make and post and share it online to reach more audience. With that,
I will be able to gather attention from my future clients and customers.
8. To promote my products, I will first resort to social media promotion as it is one of the
easiest, fastest, and cheapest ways of letting the people know about my business. Then, I
will host product giveaways to boost my followers and likers, and to let the people try
and test my product giveaway as a sample.
9. Before I think of opening my business, it is important that I start saving money and use it
as my capital.

that, more people tend to rely on machine made products and neglect the importance of
handmade crafts.
SOLUTION:
As the problem arises, the Crochet Castle will provide quality handmade crochet products
with large varieties. It is also a way of encouraging people to love handmade crafts and
reminding them of its significance.
TEAM:
Even the crochet business can be worked on by a one-man team, I believe that eventually,
the business will be needing more crochet artists, and people in the marketing, sales, and
advertising.
Based on the discussed topics, I have learned that starting up a business requires a lot of time,
effort, energy, and preparation to make it as successful as possible. Starting up a business venture
is indeed not an easy task, and it requires a lot of decision making. I believe that decision making
is also important in life as a general skill in life. I will use it in real life situations where I have to
think thoroughly first before deciding on something.
OBJECTIVES:
Crochet Castle’s strategic objective is to provide handmade products with great quality. The
crochet products have a wide variety from wearables to decorations, accessories, and souvenirs
for all genders and ages.
Marketing:
The Marketing Department shall be responsible for product promotion and advertising. They
shall post and share the products online to reach more audience and attract potential clients.
Human Resources:
The Human Resources Department shall ensure that all the staffs, especially the crochet artists
are doing a mandatory welfare check to maintain a good and healthy working environment.
Sales:
The Sales Department shall always report to the Accounting and Finance Department weekly,
monthly, and annually for proper keeping of financial records.
Customer Care:
The Customer Care Department shall always accommodate the comments and suggestions from
the customers for further improvement of the products.
