Germantown Letter From The Principal

Second semester is off to a strong start, and we are looking forward to building on the progress of
the first semester. Excellent teaching and learning are important goals at CMS, and I am writing to
remind you that student behavior that interferes with our academic focus will not be tolerated.
The overwhelming majority of GMS students meet and exceed our high expectations, but students
who make bad decisions to be disruptive will be disciplined. Any reported infractions will be
investigated, and disciplinary measures can include removal from our school community and
referral to alternative school.
Please speak to your children and remind them that their behavior both in-person and online
matters, and that GMS is committed to being a safe and welcoming environment. Poor behavior will
result in real consequences.
As always, thank you for entrusting GMS with your child's education. I encourage you to reach out
to me with any questions or concerns.
