I think that is frightening story because the horror story have children. That picture in front
of book is mysterious.

I think that Peter Quint want to say who killed him because his dead wasn`t a
natural death.

I can only identify two people: the governess and Mrs Groose. I don`t know
who is other people in pictures.

I think that who dies is some child, can be Miles or Flora.
8. Who will win in the end: the good people or the ghosts?
Perhaps the ghosts win in the end because some child dies

9. The governess writes a letter. What happens to it?
He had written the letter and put it on the table by the front door. After that disappeared
from table and none servant saw him. Miles had taken it.

10. At the end of chapter 7, the governess cries for a long time. Why is she criying?
Because nobody believed in her, Mrs Groove didn’t see Miss Jessel when they were
at the lake. She felt that she was losing everything.
11. At the end of the story, Peter Quint returns. He wants to stop Miles - from doing
what?
Peter Quint wanted to keep Miles from saying everything he knew. The boy was saying
why he couldn't go back to school and why he said wicked things to other people.

12. Write five things you know about Flora: what she looks like etc.
 Flora hair is gold in color
 She has big and blue eyes
 She seemed so sweet and innocent but she wasn`t
 To her the high, dangerous or strange places were exciting.
 She is a little naughty

13. In Chapter 6, the governess writes a letter to her employer. What do you think
she says? Write the letter.

Master,
I knew that you don’t like that anybody write you. But this is an urgent situation. Miles had
been kicked out of school, he cannot return to study there. At home, the children are behaving
in an unusual way. In the nights or differents momments of day, they go to dangerous places
of the large house.
I`m afraid that they can hurt themselves or can die when they putting themselves in danger.
In the house, strange thins are happening; at night ther is noise and I have seen a man and a
woman who were your employees. However, Mr Groove told me they are dead. I know this
is crazy; but I would like if you come as soon as you can. Your nephews need your help.

The governess

14. Think of a ghost story you know, Write a paragraph telling the story.
In the eastern plains, there is a house where a married couple lives. They say that before
buying that house, there lived a family made up of parents and 2 children. One day a terrible
accident happened, part of the house caught fire and the children died. Since then, in the
nights it is heard how they knock on the doors. When the couple is visited they make more
noise and knock on windows and doors with more force.

15. You are a scientist: you don't believe in ghosts. Explain that the governess
imagined everything. Give another reason why Miles dies at the end of the story.
Dear governess, you are imagining all about ghost. What you have seen are rays of light
caused by a serious vision and hearing problem that you have. The frequency of your senses
is different from that of others causing strange sensations. Miles died of heart problem.
