Course/Section: CPE102L – A17_

1.) What three concepts remain unclear or difficult for you to understand?

a. The claims of what is happening in this pandemic are a punishment for us.

Many front liners are working 'twenty-four seven' to serve the population, and

most of them are exhausted. Some developing countries have low economic

funds, and most are shocked because they lack materials for the pandemic.

The most alarming issue is that people suffer and die on our watch. So,

expressing this claim was very unknowledgeable of what is happening in our

world.

b. The different meaning made about the concept of Morality made by many

philosophers and theorist. It leads the readers into a confused state while

figuring out what to believe.

c. The role of virtue/morality in the different lockdowns that occur globally. For

instance, how can one view the virus's Morality from Asia? Will they feel hate

and disgust due to the living fact of this Morality?

2.) What three significant insights did you gain in studying this text?

a. I learned that we, humans, could create a snowball outcome that will eventually

lead to worse events. If humans took the utmost care and repercussions, we

could avoid upcoming global catastrophes.

b. Another insight I gained is that the utilitarian approach is possible when global

catastrophes like the COVID-19 virus occur. The pandemic has taken a toll on

our mental health, and this approach assisted us with ease in making our

decisions.
c. Also, I learned that first-world countries are not far ahead of developing

countries when handling the COVID-19 pandemic. It may take a while for

developing countries to respond quickly; however, progress is made more

prominent due to the usage of advanced technology since it is much more

reliable.

3.) What three questions do you want to ask about the text?

a. What would happen if the COVID-19 was ignored? Would the moral revolution

that occurred in this present time be the same?

b. What moral revolution can occur in other global catastrophes?

c. Is the utilitarian approach viable in future adversities? If so, how?
