As per his
findings, LAMC should adopt the principles of language, learning, and 21 st century themes. Barrot also
recommended some ways to train teachers/facilitators: 1) Teachers should be oriented and trained to
familiarize and adopt the new curriculum. 2) Training should also include implementing knowledge to new
teaching ways and ideas.
Lastly, He stated that the hours of teaching English subjects should not be reduced, since its current
hours of lectures are reduced. English subject lecture hours should be 200 hours per year. It was
concluded that according to Barrot, English curriculum for lower levels should focus on learning
communication rather than just the beginning of English learning.
